Chapter 1453 Checking!
Chapter 1453: Checking!
A/N: I have made some changes in the Panagea update. Please reread Chapter 1452 before starting this chapter.
***
Aakesh smiled, seeing the banter between the two. He then looked at the screen in front of him.
Lily and Khaval had given their opinions; it was now time for him to make the decision and choose the two products he wanted to update.
"Hey, system, please update Panagea and the Beast Summoning Device," Aakesh announced in the empty air.
[Yes, Host!]
The next moment, the system's mechanical alert rang in the store, and soon after, a blue light washed over the portal and the beast room.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtFollowing that, two rays of light exited the room and flew toward Aakesh. He captured it with ease, and when he looked at them, he found there were two cards in his hand.
Both cards had the storefront sign and the store's name on the front, and when he looked at the back, one had the pattern of the virtual portal, while the other had the pillar.
At the same time, a new piece of information emerged in Aakesh's head.
He nodded and walked to his chair. There were already two devices near his chair for selling Store Cards and Credit Cards.
"Hey, system, merge the two devices," Aakesh requested.
The next moment, a blue light covered the two square boxes, and soon after, they merged into one box. There was only one card hole for the card to exit, but there was an additional switch on the device referring to the credit card.
Aakesh then put the two cards in his hand at a distance of one foot from each other. The next moment, light particles began to emerge atop the card, and soon, they formed the silhouette of the two devices.
One was spherical in shape, similar to the virtual portal, while the other was cylindrical, like the beast summoning pillar. The spherical device had blue edges, while the entire surface was dark. On the surface, there was a glowing pattern of the virtual portal filled with shiny stars. Below it was a card hole for cards to emerge.
Unlike the beast and other store cards, the recharge card for Panagea was spherical. Aakesh wanted to check it, so he put his hand on the device, releasing a bit of his energy.
The blue edges around the device began glowing, and like a starry pattern, energy flew toward the card hole. It all happened immensely fast, but still within the range of Aakesh's visibility.
The next moment, a spherical card entirely dark in color flew out of the hole, and Aakesh caught it. The material for the card seemed similar in touch to what the virtual portal felt.
The card wasn't empty, but there were two screens on it. Even though it was only the size of a child's palm, the content on it didn't look overcrowded, despite it containing the status screen of the adventurer. The second screen contained the number of Sacred hours left for the customer to enter Panagea outside the store.
Since Aakesh had no restrictions on him, there was a '-0-' written similar to his intelligence and endurance.
At the back of the card, there was the name of the store written in golden fonts, oozing majesty. It wasn't the end of it, and Aakesh tapped three times on the virtual portal pattern on the card.
The next moment, light particles began to gather and soon formed the projection of the virtual portal, and a suction force appeared. The next moment, Aakesh was sucked inside, leaving Lily and Khaval alone in the store.
Not long after, Aakesh reappeared in the same spot, exiting Panagea. His card won't be counted in the 100,000 limit, so Aakesh had nothing to worry about, but since he did not need it, he crushed the card, and soon it exploded into light particles and disappeared.
What Aakesh did wasn't a way to delete the card since its material was unbreakable in the Sacred Dimension. Only Aakesh could do something like that in the Sacred Dimension.
Aakesh then focused on the next cylindrical device. It was pure white, without a single blemish on its surface. In the middle, there was a pattern of two beasts; one was a whale jumping out of the ocean, while the other was a feline roaring into the sky.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmLily and Khaval couldn't help but laugh out loud since the two on the device were clearly them. Aakesh ignored them and kept his focus on the device.
A few inches below the pattern, there was a card hole in the shape of the beast card, and right below it, there was a rectangular screen with a long width and a small length. On the screen, there were two rows of touch buttons.
The first row referred to the beast's cultivation levels ranging from Divine Transformation to Supreme God, and on the second row, there were four options related to the number of beast packs, starting from three and ending at one thousand race options.
The customers only had the choice to select all beasts of their liking in three race packs. In the higher tiers, they could select five races at most, and the others would be randomly chosen for the customer by the store, depending on the beast.
The store even had Akonos as the beast partner, as well as weaker beasts. The unluckiest could get one top-tier beast group, while the luckiest could get all top-tier beast groups or races.
Below the rectangular screen, there was a switch with the word upgrade engraved on it. It was written magically so every language speaker could understand its meaning with a single glance.
Aakesh didn't have a beast card of his own, so he couldn't test the function at the moment.
[Host, the store has yet to fulfill the requirements of the fifth collective's quest's activation, so complete the quest and activate the mission.]
The next moment, the system's emotionless, mechanical voice rang inside Aakesh's head.
Aakesh nodded since the active quests were still years away from completion, and he couldn't do much to fasten that rate.
Since there was nothing more to do in the store, Aakesh commented, "Let's go!"
The next moment, the three of them disappeared from the store and appeared in the selection area.
