Chapter 1179
Willow still felt like she was dreaming until she was on stage.
The audience continued clapping their hands.
All eyes were on the two of them.
It was supposed to be a groundbreaking ceremony, but it felt like Sean and Willow’s wedding instead.
“Do you like this gift?”
Sean asked with a chuckle as he looked at Willow.
Willow wanted to answer but did not know how.
She had mixed feelings.
Everyone else saw Sean’s success today, but only Willow thought about how hard Sean worked to get
here.
What did it take to go from a vegetable everyone laughed at to a billionaire everyone admired?
Willow was not sure, but she did know it must have been hard.
Sean did all this just to give River City to Willow.
He did it to tell her she did not lose her bet.
The more Willow thought about it, the more touched she felt. Her nose could not help feeling red.
“Don’t cry. I’ve got you.”

Not caring about everyone’s gaze, Sean only hugged Willow into his arms.
One side of Willow’s face pressed against Sean’s chest. She felt his strong heartbeat and reached out to
hug Sean’s waist without reservation.
Clap! Clap!
The applause grew louder.
“F*ck, I’m so envious!”
“What a match. They’re perfect for each other.”
“Willow’s the most beautiful girl in River City, and only Mr. Lennon deserves her.”
Everyone discussed.
Whether an heiress or an ordinary person, the ladies were envious.
Demi’s former classmates and friends were amongst the crowd outside.
They knew they could not behave however they wanted in front of Willow again after seeing that.
They did not even have the right to share a meal with Willow.
“Instead of making promises, I’d rather act on them.
“Ms. Quinn persevered for two years to get Mr. Lennon’s love.
“With this gift, Mr. Lennon proves that Ms. Quinn’s efforts aren’t in vain.”
Willow’s eyes could not help reddening at the hostess’s words.
She had mixed feelings as she thought of her bitter past and compared it with everyone’s attention.
“Let’s proceed with the ceremony first.
“We’ll talk when we get home.”
Sean patted Willow on the back and whispered.
“Yes, yes. Okay!”
Willow nodded and wiped her eyes before smiling.
The groundbreaking ceremony went on.
Sean and Willow stood in the middle of the line.
Harry, Zander, Homer, Chadwick, Jenson, and the rest were standing on both sides.
The long red ribbon was gently held by Harry and the rest.
There was a red ribbon flower in the middle of the ribbon. It was right between Sean and Willow.
Zander waited silently with a velvet tray.
There was something very specific about the ribbon–cutting.
The cut red ribbon ball had to fall firmly into the tray and not land on the ground.
“Come. Please get ready.”
Jenson and the rest pulled the red ribbon tight as the host spoke.
It was easier to cut that way.
“Mr. Lennon and Ms. Quinn, please pick up the scissors representing good luck.
“Get prepared to cut the ribbon.”
The hostess came forward with a smile and instructed two long–legged beautiful women in gowns to the
tray containing scissors.

The red ribbon flower fell steadily into the tray.
“Let’s wish Reach For Will Group a successful start and good luck!”
The host said, and there was another round of applause.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Party cannons rang around them.
Colorful pieces of paper were scattered in the air.
“Let’s wish Reach For Will Group good luck with its downtown project!”
Zander announced into the microphone as he stepped forward.
Clap! Clap! Clap!
There was a round of applause, and the place was lively.
Sean put down the scissors and covered Willow’s ear with his hands.
“Huh?”
Willow turned her head in confusion, wondering what Sean was up to.
Boom!
Just then, there was suddenly a deafening explosion in the distance.
It was as if a big bomb had gone off.
The deafening noise numbed many people’s ears.
Willow would have also been shocked if Sean had not covered her ears in time.
