“Hey, what are you doing? Why did you take my camera?”

Kurt ignored her.

His eyes were filled with a murderous aura. After taking out the memory card from the camera, he

smashed the camera to the ground, and it broke into pieces.

“Kurt Lopez!” Vivian was finally angry.

“What the hell are you doing? Why did you destroy her camera? What's wrong with me taking a

picture? Does it even matter to you? Aren't you being too full of yourself?”

Vivian berated Kurt. Her words stabbed his heart like a sharp-edged sword.

After breaking the memory card, he turned his darkened face toward Dwayne.

“Yes. This is my duty. You're not allowed to take pictures with anyone without your family's permission.

complaint, you may take it up to your father after he wakes up. But before that happens, you've to get

my approval before making any decisions!”

It was as if Kurt had completely changed into a different person. While emanating a chilly aura, his

eyes had darkened as he shot her a frosty glance.

That was the first time he revealed his identity to her.

Everyone else who was present felt as if they had suddenly been struck by lightning.

Vivian, on the other hand, was rendered speechless.

She stared blankly into his huge obsidian eyes as if she had heard something mindblowing. However,

she didn't believe a word he said.

He's actually the bodyguard that Daddy arranged?

“Kurt...” She felt as if something was drifting further away from her. She got so scared for a moment

that she wanted to reach out and grab him.

However, Kurt loosened his grip.

“Rest assured. I will not stand between the two of you. I will only stop anything from endangering your

safety. I will not interfere with anything else.”

Then, he threw away the broken memory card in his hand and walked away.

Vivian was completely dumbfounded.

Suddenly, she panicked and chased after him.

However, Kurt's movements were quick. A few minutes ago, he was telling Vivian he was her

bodyguard. But when she rushed out of the photoshoot studio, he was nowhere to be found.

Vivian, who was only sixteen, stood at the entrance of the photoshoot studio and burst into tears.

Dwayne didn't expect things to turn out like that. He glanced at the broken pieces of the memory card

and the camera in shock. He no longer dared to act presumptuously.

“Vivian, I'll send you home.”

Vivian finally got angry.

She was suddenly annoyed by Dwayne for some reason. If it weren't for him, Kurt wouldn't have

confessed, and they would still be able to get along as usual.

“No, Aunt Sabrina, I'm all grown up now. I'm turning seventeen after October. I can go by myself.”

That day, Vivian dragged her luggage to the airport by herself.

The airport remained lively as usual. However, when Vivian saw the crowd when she arrived, she

suddenly turned around and started searching around the waiting hall.

and searched for him without even retrieving her boarding pass.

“Kurt, I know you're here. Please come out. I was wrong, and I won't be stubborn anymore. I'll listen to

you. Will you come out, please? Kurt!” she shouted his name loudly, and her voice echoed throughout

the airport.

However, there were no signs of Kurt even after her voice turned hoarse from the shouting. Soon, tears

rolled down her cheeks.
