Chapter 1237 Crimson Palace
After venturing ahead for some distance, the surrounding suddenly darkened significantly when the
sunlight was blocked off by a patch of towering and lush trees.
“Why are the trees here especially tall? It’s the same piece of land,” Jared mumbled in curiosity.
Realizing this, Jared released a spiritual sense to survey the aura of the surrounding.
Soon, he realized that there was a vast stone somewhere in front. It had a height of more than ten
meters, and there was a two-meter-high cave in the middle of that stone.
“What is this thing? Don’t tell me the stone is emptied out.”
Jared frowned and hastened his steps toward the rock.
When he reached, he realized the ground was bare due to human activities.
More importantly, this place oozed a relatively dense spiritual energy.
“There must be something about this rock.”

Jared gazed at the boulder only to realize it housed a usual and shallow cave. In fact, it was so shallow
he could see the other end right from where he was.
There’s nothing special about this cave, but having a boulder in the middle of a dense forest is unnatural.
I should probably check out this rock.
So, Jared decided to try again by closing his eyes slightly before releasing his spiritual sense in the
direction of the rock. Just as he did so, his spiritual sense was deflected by a powerful force coming from
the rock.
“Someone used magecraft on this rock,” he noted, puzzled.
Jared opened his eyes again and beheld that cave opening. Then, he climbed in without a second
thought.
To his surprise, the view was completely different once he got in.
There was a stretch of stone houses surrounded by a wall.
A gate tower stood erected at the front with the words—Crimson Palace inscribed in strikingly red color.
What? Did someone use an illusion spell to hide this whole place?
No regular person could see Crimson Palace in that cave. One would enter Crimson Palace by stepping
into the cave, and going through the cave enabled one to break the illusion spell to see Crimson Palace.
“This clan is pretty interesting. Their leader must be powerful to be able to cast this illusion spell.”
With that thought in mind, Jared went toward the entrance of the palace.
This is a suitable place for cultivation since it is filled with spiritual energy. The elders of this clan are
really wise to pick a place like this.
Just as Jared reached the entrance, two women dressed in purple stopped him.

with her face gloomed.
Jared could sense that her aura was hostile, so he quickly explained himself.
“Please forgive me. I don’t mean to intrude. I happened to be exploring this area, and I came across this
cave.”
“If you really ended up here by accident, then leave while you can before we take action against you,”
they said with their deterrent aura blocking Jared off.
Jared smiled. To him, there was no way these two Senior Grandmaster-level women could stop him.
They were not powerful enough to harm Jared even if he did nothing to retaliate. Yet, since he had no
intention of starting a fight and was at fault for trespassing on others’ territory, he decided to take their
warning and leave.
“Now, there’s no need for that. I’ll leave…” Jared said, turning away, but before he could take another
step, a girl in blue jumped down in front of him from the stone wall.
“Hold on,” she called out.
Jared looked at her in surprise. “Yes?”
