After hearing that, Grace looked disappointed. “Why?”

“I just told you that I won’t resign for the time being. At least for the next year, I won’t consider resigning,” Darcy

replied.

“Grace, our relationship isn’t very stable yet. We still need time to get used to each other. This year will serve as a

clothes.

When she was at home, it was more comfortable to wear pajamas. She had just gone to see Darcy, so she certainly

could not wear pajamas.

Ten minutes passed.

Joanna changed into her pajamas and slowly walked to the dining room.

“Mommy, Christmas is just two days away.” Davian reminded Joanna excitedly.

Irvin chimed in, “That’s right. We’re going to be a year older again. You have to prepare big gifts for us this year.

“Mommy, can we decide on this year’s gifts ourselves?”

Joanna sat down in her seat. Then she asked, “When did all of you become so obsessed with money?

“Hurry up and eat. After dinner, you can practice the piano.”

Irvin retorted playfully, “Mommy, it’s finally vacation time. Can’t we just relax a bit?”

“That’s right. Don’t keep talking about homework and studying all the time. Aren’t you afraid we’ll turn into

bookworms?”

“Well. With you all being so mischievous, it’s hard for you to become bookworms,” Joanna replied.

After Joanna finished speaking, she shouted toward the small living room, “Lilia, stop practicing and come over to

have dinner.”

The small living room had been converted into a training room for Lilia to train every day.

“Got it, Mommy,” Lilia replied. Then she made her way slowly to the dining room while leaning on her cane.

Although she no longer needed the cane to walk, it provided her with more stability.

“Sweetie, are you tired?”

Lilia sat down in her seat and said happily, “I’m not tired. Whenever I think about how soon I’ll be able to learn

ballet, I don’t feel tired at all.”

“Ah, my sweetie,” Joanna sighed with both affection and concern.

Lilia was really putting in a lot of effort to stand up.

“Don’t go into the room to play games. You have just eaten. You need to exercise.”

It was the end of the year. They bought a lot of Christmas lights and candies. Every night, they had a lot of fun in

the garden.

Only Bruce and Joanna remained in the dining room, along with Devin.

“Lilian, Devin has to eat more supplementary food in the future. He can’t just drink milk,” Joanna said. After saying

that, Joanna cut a little steak and placed it in Devin’s bowl.
