hope my guess is wrong.

“Bruce, you have to come back. Don’t let Joann and the children down.”

puzzled, not understanding why she was asking. “Why do you ask? Mommy and Mr. Grimm are definitely good

friends.”

“Just good friends?” Lilia asked carefully.

“Of course! Ha, you silly little girl, what are you trying to say?” Joanna looked at her daughter with a smile.

With a melancholy look on her face, Lilia’s big eyes turned a few times. “Mommy, I feel like Mr. Grimm still likes you

very much.”

Joanna blinked her eyes a few times, feeling something she could not quite put into words.

Lilia finally breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing her mother’s promise. “Then I can rest assured.”
