Chapter 1475 Investment Projects
Cindy felt rather comfortable interacting with Gary. It was as if the man had no ego given how his tone of speech
was gentle, steady, and overall welcoming.
Thus, she didn’t feel like leaving as she remained seated. She continued, “I’ve seen your interviews about
investments. Although risk is only common in investing, once a person finds the right market to invest in, they’ll be
able to live the rest of their lives with returns. Ah, I’m jealous of people like you who have lots of insight. You can
always spot the most profitable projects among all the countless ones out there.”
Gary pouted his lips and replied, “Investing can bring handsome profit or tremendous loss. True, choosing the right
thing to invest in is critical, but one more important thing is to never be greedy. There is risk in everything, so we
should only seek what we can bear.”
Cindy nodded her head. “Indeed, greed is the root of evil.”
Since she wasn’t a greedy person, she only wanted to achieve financial freedom. However, that was no easy feat to

Gary then peered at her. “Why? Are you looking to invest?”
Upon hearing that, Cindy awkwardly laughed and answered, “Yes, but I don’t have much capital. I plan on dabbling
a little just to make some income.”
Either Gary was an angel sent by the heavens or simply because Cindy had gotten on his good side, he pulled out
his business card and gave it to her. “Come and see me whenever you have the time. I have a few projects that I
can introduce to you, and you don’t have to worry about the processing and management fees.”
Upon hearing that, Cindy fluttered her eyelids in confusion and hastily accepted the business card. “Thank you, Mr.
Frye.”
Shortly after, Ian came downstairs. When he saw Cindy speaking with the man, he was immediately stunned and
halted his steps as he stared at them, baffled.
Ian recognized Gary, the expert investor, but the latter wasn’t one affiliated with show business—he was strictly a
businessman.
On the other hand, something seemed to have come up for Gary as he looked at his phone before looking like he
was about to leave.
Before he could depart, Ian approached them. “You’re here.”
At the same time, Cindy got up from her seat after Gary, looking as though she was about to send him off.
However, she stopped in her tracks when she heard Ian’s voice. Then, she turned around and said, “Oh, yeah.
There were too many people upstairs, so I came down instead.”
Gary took a look at Ian and courteously nodded before leaving without a word.
Cindy then waved her hand at him. “Farewell, Mr. Frye.”
Once Gary had completely disappeared out of sight, Ian asked, “Do you guys know each other?”
Cindy let out a sigh and answered, “How could that be possible? I was resting here, and he coincidentally joined, so
we had a quick chat.”
Accordingly, Ian’s vision fell upon Cindy’s hand and saw her holding a business card. “Is that his?”
She was bewildered for a second before she lowered her gaze to check the object in her hand. “Yeah, he gave it to

Ian smirked and said, “He must have a good impression of you, huh.”
As she put his card into her pocket, she replied, “He seems nice. He probably thought I was a clueless amateur and
decided to lend a hand.”
Ian furrowed his brows in silence. Later on, the two left the studio building, got into their vehicle, and headed home.
On the way home, Cindy took out the card for another look.
She then expressed her disconcertment by saying, “Man, I don’t really have much to invest. Would he be
disappointed if I injected only 10,000? I can already feel the shame…”
A tycoon like Gary was responsible for thousands of projects. Thus, it was indeed embarrassing for her to offer
merely 10,000.
Ian glanced at her and suggested, “Well, you can just ask. If he thinks it’s too little, better luck next time, then. If I
recall correctly, Hannah has had some experience in investing. Perhaps you can ask her whether she has any
suitable recommendations for you.”
Cindy blinked her eyes and pondered for a while before answering, “Okay, I’ll ask about it next time.”
Very soon, they reached home. After entering the house, Cindy went to prepare some ingredients for tonight’s
dinner.
