Chapter 1560 Profession of Love
Aurora blinked and she finally nodded her head after a short while. “Oh! I didn’t know that.”
Meanwhile, Cindy went to get some utensils for Aurora. “That’s enough. Stop being a bother and let’s have dinner.
We should enjoy our meal regardless of what has happened.”
Then, Aurora had a look at the dishes in front of her. If she was being honest, several of her favorite dishes were on
the table, but she didn’t have an appetite at all.
She waved Cindy off and replied, “I don’t feel like eating since I have no appetite. This is so annoying.”
Ian responded by reaching out for her bowl and he filled it with some food. “I’m not even annoyed, so why are you
affected? This is nonsense and everything will eventually be clarified. Perhaps I’ll be more popular with the public
after this incident?”
Aurora glanced at him and she mentioned with a remorseful tone, “I keep feeling like I’ve caused trouble for you.”
Cindy piped up from the side, “It’s not your fault and you didn’t cause the trouble. Even without this incident, if
someone was intent on targeting him, there would be some other issue next time. There’s no way he could have

At that moment, Aurora hesitated for a moment before she accepted the spoon.
Naomi, who was seated at the side, comforted Aurora too. “You should think about the good side. Those people
who are intent on going after Ian are doing it because his resources are becoming more valuable. After all, there
are bound to be issues that come with fame.”
Everyone tried their best to comfort Aurora, who finally relaxed after taking a moment to calm down.
After enjoying their meal together, they gathered in the living room to watch some TV. To be more accurate, they
had in fact gathered around the couch while waiting for the company’s feedback.
Previously, the company had used Ian’s social media account to release a statement.
The statement included an explanation about Ian and Yulia’s relationship and it briefly mentioned that the meeting
earlier that afternoon was merely to share resources. At the end of the statement, there was also a sentence that
was his profession of love to Cindy.
Cindy had taken a look at it and she lacked the courage to cast her eyes on it again. The ending was rather lovey-
dovey and although she knew it was just for show, she couldn’t help but blush red upon reading it.
Soon after that, Ian received a phone call from the company and the gist of it was to ask her to release her
statement as well.
If Cindy maintained her silence, there could be unkind speculations from the public. As such, it would make things
much easier if she was willing to take a stand.
After he hung up the phone, he turned around to discuss with her about his company’s suggestion.
In response, Cindy nodded in agreement. “Alright. I’ll immediately do that.” Subsequently, she took out her cell
phone and logged into her social media account. It was the same account that she had signed up for to announce
her relationship with Ian back then.
At this moment, Aurora shifted closer to look at the content of Cindy’s post whereas he remained quite nonchalant
about it.
Cindy didn’t elaborate much and she mainly came up with a short paragraph. Then, she asked Ian whether he
wanted to take a look at the post before she published it.
He wasn’t too fussed about it. “It’s fine. You can go ahead and publish it.”
Without any delay, she hit the post button thereafter.

complained as she did that, “Why hasn’t Yulia posted her statement? What is she trying to do?! Ian’s statement has
been published for quite a while, but she didn’t do it at the same time. So much time has passed since then and by
the time she posts it, it could end up being misconstrued by the public. Is she intentionally doing this?”
Cindy was well-aware of what Naomi meant. Yulia was well-known to be a woman of swift actions, but for this
incident, she didn’t come forward to clarify everything at first instance. Meanwhile, after Ian had taken a stand on
it, Yulia’s response still remained unclear, which could result in others arriving at their own conclusions.
Even if she released a statement to support him after some time, there would be some people who would think that
it was a compromise on her end for the sake of Ian’s reputation.
At this moment, Cindy frowned and turned to look at Ian. “Why don’t you ask her what’s going on? It will reflect
badly on you if she drags this further.”
However, he wasn’t too concerned. “Perhaps she’s still considering how to explain the situation. There shouldn’t be
any issues from her end.”
He was evidently on Yulia’s side, so Cindy didn’t pursue the topic any further.
Before Yulia could even post anything, Cindy’s statement suddenly became a trending topic. The statement that
Cindy published was rather simple; she’d mainly questioned the paparazzi that secretly took the photos on why they
didn’t include the other person at the scene.
