Chapter 1635 Let’s Just Wait It Out
As expected, he couldn’t handle it either.
Cindy paused in her steps but finally went toward Ian. As she got a little closer, he heard her and turned to look at
her with a flat expression. “You can’t handle it in there?”
Cindy returned with a question of her own, asking, “You can’t either?”
Ian chuckled a little. "Well, I’ve never been interested in this stuff in the first place.”
He had faced too many cameras in his life, so much so that he lost any empathy he used to have while watching
movies. In fact, he would keep thinking about the whole lot of staff off-camera. In his opinion, all the scenes with
their strong emotions were fake.
Turning around, Cindy leaned against the wall like him and replied, "I don't really like watching such stuff either."
Then, she added, "Mrs. Morgan is still inside?"
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtIan nodded as an acknowledgment. "Actually, she’s not watching the movie anymore. But I don’t understand why
she is so eager to watch those couples and their romantic interactions?”
Smiling, Cindy did not speak, but Ian appeared rather hesitant when he spoke. "I met with the Morgan Family, and
their outlooks are rather unified when it comes to certain concerns. But before they can come forward to take a
stand, we need to spread the information about some issues."
Ah, that's beyond my expectation! “The Morgan Family is open to discussions?” she asked.
Ian thought about his previous meeting with Sean. He felt that Sean was quite open to discussions, and at the very
least, Sean had no intention of making things difficult for him. It was probably because he had never wanted to
compete with Sean for the family fortune, so Sean trusted him. Compared to Simon and Sally, Ian was really not a
threat at all, so Sean would naturally be on his side.
Cindy nodded. “As long as they are agreeable. I hope when they come forward to take a stand, they won’t speak
ambiguously. If they do, the outside world would likely over-interpret things, and by then, not only would things be
not explained clearly, but trouble would also be stirred up as well.”
Naturally, Ian understood this truth, so he slightly raised his head and exhaled. "It's fine. Do not worry."
Since they could not continue just standing there, Ian said, "Let’s go sit over there for a while."
There were public tables and chairs next to the screening hall, and as the movies were being screened now, there
was no one outside, as almost all the patrons had gone into the halls. Thus, the two of them went to sit on a bench.
Before that, Ian went to buy two cans of soda.
Cindy's initial discomfort and embarrassment had waned, so she waited for Ian to sit down before she asked, “Did
Hannah tell you when we should get ready? I sent her a message before, but she only told me to wait.”
Ian nodded in response. "She also said the same thing to me. According to her, the company will make
arrangements, and I suppose they will be hiring online trolls. Moreover, they will have to broadcast news in
advance, so let’s just wait it out. After all, so much time has passed, so it’s fine to wait a few more days.”
However, Cindy wanted to remind him that despite the fact that it had been a while, they had been apart all those
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmtimes. If they continued to wait, they would have to wait together. Thus, it was likely that they had to live in the
same room or even sleep on the same bed. It would be the worst for her.
Thinking about this, Cindy felt very uncomfortable and thus asked, “What should we do at night? It’s not right for us
to sleep together in a room, right?”
Cindy is right, but I really don’t know how to deal with this situation. "Then how about I sleep on the floor and you in
bed?"
Luckily, the weather was still warm, and the temperature had not yet dropped, so the only downside to him
sleeping on the floor was that the floor was just a little harder. Cindy's brow furrowed when she heard the
suggestion because she was certainly too disconcerted to allow it.
In the end, Aurora actually waited for the movie to end before coming out. At this time, Cindy and Ian were leaning
against the chairs outside, playing games on their phones. When Aurora came out and found them, she smiled and
went over. "I found out that watching people being in love is much more interesting than watching a romance
movie."
Cindy was amused by her sudden comment. "Do those people know you are spying on them?"
Aurora sat next to her and replied, "They don't have the time to look at me; their minds are all on each other."
Ian said helplessly, "If they knew you were spying on them, they would probably beat you up.”
