Chapter 1656 A Visit
The dress extended to her ankle, making her look prettier than ever. She was already adorable to begin with,
though her beauty was hidden beneath her tracksuit usually. Now that she was showing her beauty off, even Ian
thought she was dazzling. However, he was too embarrassed to give her any great praises. “Not bad.” He nodded.
“Not bad?” Aurora was unhappy about that comment, so she turned around. “You’re gorgeous. If that badminton
boy saw you in this, his jaw would probably drop.”
Ian was calm a moment earlier, but his face fell after Aurora said that to Cindy. You want that guy to see you
wearing this? You’re not his girlfriend! Ian held down his urge to curse.
Cindy didn’t think much about it though. “I don’t think I’ll wear this for a badminton session.”
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtAurora arched her eyebrow and went over to straighten out Cindy’s collar. “Well, you might not only meet up for
badminton sessions.”
Ian shot a glare at his mother. He knew she wanted him to hear that, but he still felt annoyed about it.
Aurora didn’t notice the look on Ian’s face, though she still felt smug saying that.
After they finished getting ready, they caught a ride to Constance Residence.
Since it was the first time Cindy came to the residence, the sheer magnitude of the place caught her by surprise.
She had seen a lot of wealthy people since the company’s celebrities were rich. However, she had never seen their
houses.
Constance Residence was huge and had more than a few houses in it. After she got out of the car, Cindy looked
around curiously. For some reason, she remembered the articles she found when she looked into Ian’s past. Back
then, two particular individuals were dragged into Ian’s problems: Sophia and Logan.
Logan was a rich man. Old Mr. Jefferson was already old when Logan was born. By that time, he had a whole
empire left behind for Logan. On top of that, Logan’s sisters were all successful women in their field. He was far
richer than Cindy could ever imagine. On the other hand, Sophia wasn’t born rich like Logan was, but luck smiled on
her, and she married a wealthy man.
Ian never said where they were going for dinner. Now that she thought about it, it was either Sophia’s place or
Logan’s.
John, who was cradling a baby, was waiting at the front door with Logan.
The baby was lying quietly in John’s arms and swinging its arms.
When Ian came over, Logan laughed. “Finally. We’ve been waiting forever.” He looked at Cindy. “Hello, little miss

Cindy nodded at him. “Hello.”
John looked at Cindy. He thought she was a silent and innocent girl, which was Ian’s type. John was worried about
Ian’s relationship before, but after seeing Cindy, his doubts were partially gone. He nodded at Aurora. “Hi, Miss
Peyton.” Then, he turned to the side and looked at Cindy again. “Come in. Everyone’s waiting.”
Cindy tucked her hair behind her ear shyly and followed Ian inside.
Sophia was cooking in the kitchen, while a pregnant Lola was chatting with Matilda on the couch.
They didn’t know who the new guests were, but still they stood up to welcome Ian and the others warmly.
Ian and Cindy might be fighting, but they had to put on a show whenever they were around outsiders, so Cindy sat
beside Ian.
Matilda made small talk with Aurora for a while before turning to Cindy. “My, she’s adorable. She must be Ian’s
girlfriend.”
Aurora said nothing, leaving that question for Ian and Cindy. Cindy didn’t know how she should answer that, so she
kept quiet.
