Chapter 1832 A Walk
After Ian explained his schedule, Cindy understood it better. “I see.”
Ian wiped his hands dry, then came over and sat on the couch as well, proceeding to pull Cindy into his arms. She
leaned against Ian’s shoulder. “After going to the company, can you hang out with me tomorrow?”
Ian paused for a while before asking, “Where are you planning to go?”
Cindy answered, “A while ago, I saw a place recruiting design trainees. I want to take a look.”
Immediately, Ian understood what she meant. “All right, then we’ll go there tomorrow after we’re done with
company matters.”
The two sat on the couch and watched TV for a while. Cindy ate quite a lot, so out of discomfort, she kept changing
her position to find the most comfortable one.
Ian noticed it too. He smiled and suggested, “Wanna go out for a spin?”
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtCindy wasn’t in the mood, but she also knew that she wouldn’t be able to fall asleep due to the discomfort of a full
stomach. Hence, she stood up. “Let’s go.”
The two didn’t bother to change their clothes; they just went out in their casual attire.
It wasn’t particularly late at night, so there was still some activity in the community. After strolling for a while, Cindy
asked, “Did you get a call or a message from the Morgans? The will should be announced soon.”
Ian did receive Sean’s message after he woke up. The lawyer had contacted him and suggested that they pick a
time to announce the will. The process would be recorded, and Sean would send the recording to Ian.
Ian didn’t care much about these things, so in his reply to Sean, he told the latter to proceed accordingly and that
he wouldn’t mind.
Sean didn’t say exactly when the will would be read out, but Ian guessed that Leah could hardly wait. Sean probably
also wanted to resolve the matters concerning Leah as soon as possible, so he might bring the date forward.
Hence, it would probably be held within these two days.
Ian nodded. “Sean sent me a message and told me that he’ll inform me when the will gets announced. He didn’t tell
me the exact date, though.”
Cindy held Ian’s arm. “Actually, I’m quite curious how Old Mr. Morgan distributed the property. It’s not that I want
any part of it, but, well, how do I put this…”
At that, Cindy gave a short chuckle. “I just want to see those three getting slapped in the face.”
She mainly wanted to see Leah’s reaction. Leah kept bugging others to tell her about the will, and her behavior
clearly showed that she couldn’t wait any longer.
However, it wouldn’t take a genius to figure out that the will wouldn’t benefit them in the least. Cindy just wanted to
see Leah’s reaction when the will was read out, to see if she would choose to cause a ruckus or leave in shame.
Ian slowly let out a breath. “To be honest, I’m curious too.”
He then continued, “I’m a normal human too, and I also want to get revenge.”
Both of them laughed, then they stopped talking. Just like that, they wandered around aimlessly and soon found

There were still a lot of people playing basketball at night, and there were both boys and girls crowded at the place,
cheering for the players. Ian and Cindy didn’t move closer; they just watched from a distance for a while.
Cindy envied them for being at the best age of their lives, and they could live so free of worry. As a result,
whenever she saw those young people, she felt regret more than anything.
She would recall her experiences at the same age, and she would feel like she had wasted her life and accumulated
nothing. She didn’t even have a single good memory.
Ian leaned against a streetlight. “Let’s go to your house sometime.”
Cindy was still gazing at the basketball court. “We still don’t know about your work schedule yet, so let’s discuss that
when you have your schedule.”
Ian’s voice was calm with a tint of gentleness. “Work is flexible; it can always be postponed.”
Cindy smiled. “If Hannah knew of your mindset, she would get so furious.”
Hannah was a strong woman, and she had very high expectations of the artists she managed.
For cases like Ian, he was quite the popular guy right now, so Hannah couldn’t say much about him.
