Chapter 1896 Baffling
Still, none of these resources were compatible with Aurora's current value, and Hannah had probably guessed what
was going on, so she didn’t put much emphasis on Yulia during her discussion with Aurora.
Hence, Aurora felt less burdened for accepting these resources after Hannah’s persuasion.
After pondering for a while, Cindy remarked, “To be honest, it’s good that we are able to get these resources, so
let’s think of things in an optimistic way and not be burdened. It could be possible that the investors figured we’d be
suitable for this role since they obviously seek mutual benefits.”
Aurora gave Cindy a grateful look. “It’s great that Ian picked you over Yulia, as you’re way more rational than she
is.”
Despite knowing that it wasn’t a suitable time to do so, Cindy still couldn’t help herself and laugh. “I finally have
something better than Yulia now.”
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtCindy quickly shook her head. “That’s not true. You’re way better than her in many aspects. She may look
outstanding because of her familial status now, but she’s really nothing compared to you if you were to remove her
background from her.”
However, the main thing was that there was no way to eliminate those external things, and all external things
served to give people extra points. Nevertheless, it wasn’t as if Yulia had nothing good about her without her
background and status, as she was still a competent person.
After Aurora and Cindy left the elevator and sauntered around the community area, Aurora tried to comfort Cindy
so that she wouldn’t overthink and burden herself.
“Honestly, I can reject those sponsorships and backers if they don't sit well with you because I haven’t gotten them
yet.”
Still, Cindy quickly shook her head. “You should accept the help the company gives you. They wouldn’t have done it
out of our relationship only, as we are collaborative partners with their company, after all. Now that you’re getting
more popular, you might even give them more exposure. Since it’s a win-win situation, you don’t have to overthink
it.”
Aurora chuckled. “You really know your way around words. You’re such a precious gem.”
Upon hearing Aurora, Cindy laughed as she found it childish that the two of them were complimenting each other
as if they were promoting each other on social media.
After walking for a while, Aurora changed the topic and asked, “What’s the situation at your place now? I really
want Ian to have the opportunity to visit one day, if it’s possible.”
Aurora had been really annoyed by Yulia’s constant watch over them. Although Aurora was looking forward to more
fame and fortune in the entertainment field, she knew not to cross any lines.
On the other hand, while Ian’s work was smooth right now, he’d still have to return to his life.
With the amount of fortune that Bryce left Ian, he would be able to live however he wanted without worrying about
getting shackled down in the entertainment field.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmThus, Aurora really wished that Ian and Cindy would be able to get married as soon as possible. At the mention of
her own family, Cindy couldn’t help but feel helpless, as she didn't know where to start.
Although she didn’t have a complicated family background, she just couldn’t bring herself to talk about it. Every
family had its own problems, and the dynamic between the family members differed for each.
Cindy was generally a cold person. It was mainly due to her family condition when she was growing up, causing her
to be unable to warm up to others because she couldn’t feel much warmth from her family previously.
After pondering for a moment, Cindy said, “My mom hadn’t been doing anything besides chilling at home, so all of it
depends on Ian’s schedule. Still, it seems like he won't be able to come over anytime soon because he's been
swamped recently. I guess we will have to reschedule for another time when he's less busy.”
Right then, Aurora contemplated for a while before she exclaimed, “Hurry up, you two! Once everything is set,
these outsiders won’t be able to interfere with your relationship anymore.”
Knowing what Aurora was trying to say, Cindy smirked a little. “I understand.”
When Cindy thought about it, she realized that Aurora’s sudden shift of attitude toward her was baffling.
Initially, Aurora looked down upon her. However, she was too lazy to make any moves to actually stop Cindy and
Ian’s relationship from maturing because she felt like they would remain the same without her involvement.
