Chapter 1910 Midnight Text
I don’t have to give in just to get more for any job, including being a celebrity.
Cindy thought about it and nodded. “You know what to do. Just go for it.”
Ian was feeling uncomfortable even though he only drank a bit of wine. He washed himself up and went to bed
after that.
Cindy was feeling sleepy, but after she lay down, she tossed and turned, and she couldn’t sleep. She whipped her
phone out and texted her mother even though it was late. She said she was bringing her boyfriend home to meet
her. She knew her mother wouldn’t respond, so she only told her mother to make the arrangement.

Either that’s a text or a call. She hesitated, but in the end, she pushed herself up and took Ian’s phone to see what
it was. Ah, a text.
She unlocked his phone and went into the chat application, since she knew the password. The text was from Yulia,
who explained why she went to see the production team earlier. According to her, she already had an appointment
with them before the cast was even decided.
Cindy felt like laughing. Even if that’s true, the gathering was between the cast and producers. It’s obvious there’s
no place for her there. She’s not mad, so she couldn’t have arranged the gathering at the same time as Ian’s
gathering. What a weak explanation.
Cindy didn’t reply to Yulia’s text and waited to see if there would be a second one, and she actually sent another
text, but this time, she was asking why Ian was ignoring her.
They had gone home at the same time, so she thought Ian was still awake. Cindy snickered and turned the phone
off, then she put it aside. Can’t even talk to her. She’s so different from her online persona.
Cindy first met Yulia on a set, and she was taking Ian’s photos for the magazine’s cover. She was nice to him back
then, but it was obvious that she was still being cold. Back then, she never would have thought Yulia could be so
clingy.
Yulia lay back down and hugged Ian, then she sighed silently. Cindy hoped her mother would reply to her the next
day and tell Cindy when she was free. Then, she’d make arrangements to bring Ian home to meet her mother.
There was no such thing as engagements in Cindy’s hometown. A couple would get married straight away if they
thought the time was right. However, if Ian wanted to have an engagement, then she would go with it. She kissed

Ian woke up first the next morning, since he needed to use the restroom. After he did his business, he came back to
the bed and stared at Cindy. It hadn’t been too long since he left, but Cindy had already rolled over and taken his
place. He chuckled silently, then he lay back down at the edge of the bed.
Cindy felt him coming back, so she rolled over and hugged him again. Ian was still feeling sleepy, but after she
rubbed against him, his whole body was awoken, though his mind was still foggy. Then, he slid his hand under her
shirt and groped her chest.
Cindy couldn’t sleep that way, so she moaned and pushed Ian’s shoulder. “Cut it out. I still want to sleep.”
