Chapter 1306
The deafening music pierced through Blake’s eardrums as she
downed drink after drink. Eventually, the last drink left her somewhat intoxicated. Everything felt surreal
when she looked at the colorful lights.
Janice hurriedly took the drink from Blake’s hand. “Stop drinking. You’ve drank a lot. If you keep
drinking, your body won’t be able to handle it. It’s already late; I should take you home now.”
Blake pushed Janice’s hands away and drunkenly babbled, “I-I don’t want to go back. I have to marry
Liam when I go back. I don’t want to get married. I want to wait for Kevin to come back. He slept with
me and promised to take responsibility!”
Janice’s eyes widened as if she had just heard some earth-shattering news. “W-What did you say?!
You slept with Mr. Harrison? I knew you were more than just friends with him. I even asked back then
why he always looked toward our direction.
Confused, she asked, “If you like Mr. Harrison, why are you marrying Mr. Xander? Blake, what
happened after you went downstairs?!”
Blake, heavily intoxicated, staggered around. She was holding onto the glass as she headed for the

Janice was puzzled. “Your sister? Who’s your sister?”
“Who else could it be? Cecilia Samford.”
“What?!” Janice stood stunned in place for a long time, unable to
process what Blake had just said. When she saw Blake bumping into
someone, she hurried forward to support her. “Blake, walk slower.”
After walking into the dark corridor leading to the restroom, Blake
suddenly felt unsteady and leaned against the wall. At that moment, a
hand from the darkness suddenly pulled her to a corridor without
lights.
Janice asked, “Blake, where are you?”
Blake responded, “I…”
Janice shouted anxiously. She thought, ‘She’d just turned the corner. How could she have disappeared
so quickly?”
Before Blake could say anything further, her mouth was covered by someone’s hand. Then, she
suddenly leaned against the strange
man’s chest. She could not see his face clearly; it was as if she had
fallen unconscious.
With a deep and intense gaze, the man in black clothes looked down
at the defenseless Blake in his arms
On a narrow balcony with bar graffiti and an abandoned couch, Blake
leaned on the man’s shoulder. She placed her hand in his palm. “Hey,
you smell so good! This scent of yours is like that of my deceased ex
husband.”
Blake reached out to caress his face with both hands.
The man said, “Put your hands down. Someone will take you away
soon.”
“I don’t want to leave, and I won’t put my hands down. I want you to stay here with me,” Blake
responded
She squinted, her vision blurry, her body exuding a strong smell of

minute before smiling and saying, “Kevin, you jerk. When are you
coming back? If you don’t come back soon, I’ll have to marry
someone else.”
At that moment, Janice’s anxious voice came from downstairs. “Mr.
Xander, Blake disappeared here. I lost her for a moment, and then she
went missing.”
Liam responded, “Let’s split up and look for her. Call me if you have
any news about her.”
“Okay.” Janice was very worried, so she called Liam. She worked in
the secretarial department and had many senior employees’ phone
numbers on her phone. That was how she found Liam’s phone
number.
Fortunately, he answered her call. Otherwise, she would not be able to
explain losing Blake to him.
“Let go!” the man said.
