"Damn it! How am | supposed to get rid of these annoying things?"

Austin cursed as he watched the increasing number of demons cat him.

Even with the Slaughtering Sword's impeccable strength, he still found it difficult to withstand all of his enemies.

After using the sword several times, he found that something was wrong.

The force emitting from the bloody sword aura had started to evade both his body and Soul Sea.

Even though he had his spiritual tree to guard his Soul Sea, Austin couldn't focus on fighting the demons as he could only sense

more and more aggressive forces from the sword that attacked his Soul Sea and body.

He swung his sword several times and a few streaks of bloody sword aura slashed through the demons.

He then cdown and stood beside the tall skeleton.

He clenched his fists then swung towards the demon's skeleton with a force of four million pounds.

He was able to hit the skeleton with dozens of punches in only a second.

Crack! Crack! Crack!

The skeleton shook even more frequently. Apparently it had already sustained sserious injuries.

The solid skeleton from one of the demons astonished Austin.

'It was hit by more than ten streaks of bloody sword aura. | even punched it dozens of times. How could it still remain intact? How

durable could it be?" Austin thought.

Shocked as he was, he just kept swinging at the skeleton.

"We must protect our king!" one demon yelled to his comrades.

The demons then jumped into the pool one by one.

Austin wielded his Slaughtering Sword with his right hand and created streaks of powerful bloody sword aura which stopped the

demons from getting closer to him.

‘Archaic weapons are truly unbelievable.

If it weren't for this Slaughtering Sword, | would have already run away, ' Austin thought.

"Howl! "

Having been punched by Austin over dozens of times, the skeleton let out a creepy voice.

The sound was so loud that it was almost deafening to Austin.

The intense sound of distress made the whole hall tremble as it caused small cracks on the ground that extended rapidly.

"Our king's demonic spiritual soul has finally awakened!"

"Long live our king!"

All of those demons exclaimed in thrill with a frantic look present on all their faces.

Suddenly, every bone of that skeleton emitted thick and black evil aura.

The magnificent scene caught the attention of everyone present.

Austin narrowed his eyes and glared at the skeleton.

In a flash, the bottom of the pool was enveloped by the black evil aura.

Swoosh!

A bright light coming from the skeleton flew towards Austin's head.

Even Austin was startled by its speed.

‘This is not good. It's all moving so fast."

At the stime, he had already been surrounded by hundreds of demons. Even if he wanted to activate his bodily movement skill

to escape, it was already too late.

The light that gave off an immense evil aura broke into his Soul Sea.

It wanted to attack his spiritual soul.

"This is the spiritual tree!"

It was apparent that it was eager to get its hands on the spiritual tree.

"Get out of here!" Austin shouted.

As he cleared his mind, a spiritual demon and twenty Spiritual Sense Flying Spears instantly appeared in his Soul Sea and charged

towards the light.

"Humph!

Little trick!" the light snorted as it mocked him.

It then released an overwhelming power that it controlled to hit the spiritual demon and the twenty flying spears.

The two forces were evenly matched!

"You're nothing more than an insignificant human, but you possess such an incredible spiritual sense. | couldn't even defeat you in

one go.

Seems like my demonic spiritual soul had been in a coma for too long that | haven't restored all of my strength yet," the light

sighed.

Whenever it spoke, it also hit the spiritual demon and the twenty spears.

Neither of the parties was at a clear disadvantage.

"Getout of here," Austin said to the gnthrough his spiritual sense.

He was aware that he would be putting himself in grave danger if he decided to stay a little longer.

'The light was trying to attack my soul as all these demons also launched their attacks towards me.

If it weren't for the Slaughtering Sword, | would have definitely lost, ' Austin pondered.

The gncout of the Illusion Bead and immediately stood next to Austin. Without wasting another second, he activated the

After a while, the two of them showed up at the exit of the hall.

Austin activated the Thunderbolt Movement Skill to dash out of the cave.

Sensing that Austin had made it out of the lobby, it left his Soul Sea.

The instant Austin rushed out of the cave, he was able to leave the valley. He hurried to get out of the Pillar Array to and flew

further forward.

About half an hour later, he landed on a barren peak.

He heaved a huge sigh of relief.

"I didn't expect that skeleton to be from a demon king,"

he murmured to himself.

A demon king could go on par with a human cultivator at the Heaven Realm.

The Heaven Realm was a level higher than the Tribulation Realm.

'Why was a demon king's skeleton hidden in the Barren Mountain?"

Austin wondered, but he just couldn't figure it out.

Just the thought of the demon king's skeleton made him tremble.

'l couldn't even take care of his skeleton. What if that demon king regains all of his strength? Wouldn't he be much more powerful?

If | don't make any progress, | will have no choice but to retreat when | encounter him again, ' he contemplated.

He shook his head as he wore a bitter grin.

"Whatever.

| have to focus on achieving my goal first," he muttered.

Hence, he continued to fly deep inside the Barren Mountain.

At the stime, he also released his spiritual sense to scan his surroundings.

The map about the Dark Bone Gloomy Fire still existed in Austin's Soul Sea.

He also remembered the messages it contained: the Dark Bone Gloomy Fire was buried in the Gloomy Graveyard of the Barren

Mountain.
