Austin asked the queen curiously upon feeling the pressure of her evil energy.

"You are right. This is the level of cultivation base | had before,"

the queen said with a nod.

Even though Austin already knew this, he was still shocked when he heard it from the queen herself.

Especially because many sect leaders and the elders of sbig sects also had cultivation bases in the Semi-Holy Realm.

However, to his dismay, his action was caught by both the queen and the gnome.

The leader of the Song Clan then stared at the queen with caution as blood dripped out of his mouth.

He had obviously been injured by the queen's strike.

However, he could not wrap his head around the fact that a woman from the evil shadow race who had just made it to the Semi-

Holy Realm recently was able to hurt him that badly.

"Austin! You have already brought your accomplices to safety and this lady of the evil shadow race has already achieved another

breakthrough.

Thus, you can release those whom you have kidnapped now.

If you still choose not to let them go, we will make sure that you will not make it out of here alive."

Upon failing at his sneak attack, the leader of the Song Clan threatened Austin in a voice teeming with malice.

"Ha-ha, you old dog. Do you really think that | am stupid? If | let your men go, then | will lose the only chance | have of getting out

of here alive,"

Austin said with a sarcastic grin.

"Gather your men. | will transport them into my City model at once.

| have a feeling that there is going to be another brutal battle,"

Austin said to the queen using his spiritual sense.

The queen nodded as she waved at her men. At that moment, everyone from the evil shadow race immediately gathered around

the queen.

Austin then activated the transportation power of his City model and transferred all of the evil shadow race into it.

Given that his opponents were all sect leaders, clan leaders, and reclusive elders, Austin knew that they were very strong, and if

the people of the evil shadow race joined the fight, Austin was quite sure that they would get massacred. So in order to prevent

this from happening, Austin sent them into the City to protect them.

"Austin, what do we have to do for you to release our people?"

The reclusive elder of the New Moon Sect shouted in a screeching voice.

"There is no way we are going to let you leave this place until you release our people."

All of the other cultivators there were staring at Austin with malice.

However, none of them dared to attack because the elites from their sects were still held captive in Austin's giant vital energy

hands.

"Austin, don't make the mistake of thinking, even for a second, that we are afraid of you just because your little friend here has

made a breakthrough to the Semi-Holy Realm.

said the reclusive elder of the Sky Sect coldly.

"Do you think you can win just because you have outnumbered us?

After she finished speaking, the queen stepped forward as her horrendous evil energy spread like a powerful tsunami. In just a few

moments, a dense gray fog of energy permeated the entire place.

It was not the first tAustin had witnessed the queen's power. Despite her usual graceful and solemn demeanor, she becan

entirely different person whenever she fought.

"Ha-ha. It looks like I'm not yet late to the party, after all."

Amidst the standoff they were having, a person's laugh suddenly cout of nowhere.

Then, an old man wearing a baggy white robe stepped out of the void.

Following closely behind him were another old man clad in black and a five-year-old child dressed in indigo clothing.

Meanwhile, Austin was very excited to hear this voice.

Because this man's voice sounded like the sone that he heard from the shadows when he was still in the headquarters of the

Heaven Pavilion Sect.

Austin fixed his gaze on the old man.

Could he be the sman that Austin had met back before?

Austin really wanted to approach him and ask if he was actually the sperson, but he was afraid that he had just mixed him up

with someone else.

"Master Li!"

All of the other people were staring at the man wearing black in the back.

"Master Li, why are you here?"

asked the sect leader of the Song Clan.

Meanwhile, the reclusive elders of the New Moon Sect and the Magic Hand Sect along with the cultivators of the Polarity Sect all

had the squestion on their mind.

"lI am here to see what are you going to do to my junior fellow disciple,"

Master Li said coldly with a gloomy look on his face.

"Your fellow disciple?"

The other cultivators were completely dumbfounded -- they could not process what they had just heard.

"Sir, is that really you?"

Austin asked, now unable to reel in his curiosity any longer.

"Yes, it is me. | am the man you met in the headquarters of the Heaven Pavilion Sect. I'm surprised -- | didn't think that you would

remember me."

The old man nodded with smile.

"It really is you!"

Austin was overjoyed now that he had finally seen the face of the shadow that he had met in the Heaven Pavilion Sect. Apparently,

he was a deity-looking old man.

Austin assumed that he must have used an arcane spell to hide his appearance back then.

"I have missed you since we parted at the Heaven Pavilion Sect.

| never got the chance to repay you for what you did for me,"

Austin said to the old man with a salute.

"You are being too kind. There is indeed ssort of connection between us."

The old man laughed happily.

"Austin. | believe | own you an apology.

| once help these men to tracked you down.

What | did put you in grave danger.

| am deeply sorry for it,"

Master Li suddenly said to Austin in an apologetic and sincere tone.

"Wait, what's happening here?"

Austin was stunned.
