The disciples of the FlHoly Land couldn't make head or tail of this situation. There was no reason they could think of which

would explain why Stacy was suddenly siding with them.

"Austin! What the hell's going on?" Rahul asked secretly through his spiritual sense.

But it seemed like he would have to wait for the answer indefinitely. "It's a long story. All you need to know is that the people of the

Deep Sea Commercial House and the Blood-thirsty Gang aren't going to be our enemies,"

Austin replied without going into any details.

Rahul noticed his tone and realized that Austin didn't want to tell him the whole story. He had to let it go.

"I need you guys to cwith me." Stacy pointed at smembers of the Deep Sea Commercial House.

She then continued issuing the order, "The rest of you, please continue picking up the herbs."

Following her sentence, twenty-five Emperor Realm masters walked up and stood by Stacy's side.

"Right then. Let's get going now,"

Stacy remarked to Austin.

"Rahul, | have something | need to take care of with Miss Ren. You take care,"

Austin told Rahul through his spiritual sense as he began to walk away.

With him, Stacy and twenty-five masters of the Emperor Realm also took their leave and within a very few moments, they were out

of sight.

"Rahul, why do you think Austin agreed to go with Miss Ren? Did she threaten him somehow? Could it be possible that she

threatened to hurt us if he didn't follow her orders?"

Zoe asked in a concerned tone through her spiritual sense.

Austin had impressed her a lot when he had saved her from three disciples of the Blood Moon Sect disciples the other day. They

had all been at the Semi-emperor realm, yet Austin had made short work of the fight.

Since then, she had been paying a rather large amount of attention to Austin. In fact, she hadn't taken her eyes off of him ever

since he had made his appearance. She had planned on greeting him specifically, but hadn't gotten the chance.

Given her admiration for the man, it was natural of her to be concerned on seeing him taken away by Stacy.

"I don't think so. In fact, | think Miss Ren bears no ill will towards Austin. What's more, Austin didn't look like the sort of person who

was being intimidated into doing something. We shouldn't worry; | believe that Austin had his reasons for agreeing to go with her.

For now, we have our task; it is to collect more herbs," Rahul replied.

And with that, he turned his attention towards the herbs, so did the other disciples of the FlHoly Land.

As for the members of the Deep Sea Commercial House and the Blood-thirsty Gang, they didn't have the nerve to even touch the

people of the FlHoly Land after Stacy had given the order. Now, they would even give the latter a hand when required.

On the other hand, Austin, Stacy, and the rest of her crew headed towards the depths of the Wild Herb Valley.

Though they passed several wild and civilized characters on the way, no one dared to mess with them. Of the entire company, only

Austin was not at the Emperor Realm, so everyone was naturally intimidated.

Three days passed before they finally reached their destination.

"Alright everyone! We are close now! | want you all to keep your eyes open; and do try to avoid running into the disciples of the

three holy lands.

| would prefer it that we weren't spotted by anyone before we reach the Secret Valley. It is in our favor only.

Do you understand?"

Stacy emphasized each and every word of her sentence as they began to enter the depths of the Wild Herb Valley. From her

manners also, it was clear that she wanted as much secrecy as possible.

The twenty five Emperor Realm cultivators nodded obediently.

From then on, Austin, Stacy and her subordinates moved with the utmost care. They released their spiritual senses to scan their

surroundings whenever they moved. If anyone of them felt like there was any sign of the three holy land disciples nearby or in their

path, they all either hid or took a detour.

Luckily, Stacy and her crew were at the Emperor Realm. This meant they had very powerful spiritual senses and could move really

fast. Therefore, they moved rapidly towards their destination without being spotted.

Stacy would often bring out and look at an old piece of cloth; it had a map on it of ssorts. She would then put it back in her

Space Ring.

She had been leading the way as per the map ever since they had entered the depths of the Wild Herb Valley.

As for Austin, although the man in the bead had already filled him in on the location of the Secret Valley, he had kept quiet.

He hadn't even told Stacy that he knew where the Secret Valley was located. Instead, he followed her silently.

After another two days of travelling, they reached yet another valley, which was located in the depth of the Wild Herb Valley.

"This is it. Looks like a lot of people have found this place before us," Stacy murmured.

She was staring towards the valley with a stern expression on her face.

It was a strange sight. After their meticulous planning and secretive journey, they saw that a bunch of people were already

gathered in the valley. Sof them were even from the three holy lands and the others were from numerous sects in the East

Mainland. Stacy herself had no idea how they had cto know about this place, but one could clearly tell that she was

displeased.

"Humph! Looks like there was more than one map that led to this valley. | bet the people from other sects got maps too. Never

mind. At least this way, we won't have to dodge everyone in our way.

Let's enter the valley from here,"

Stacy decided in a displeased tone after thinking for a while.

'l mean what can go wrong! Besides the disciples of the three holy lands, there are people from other sects in the valley too, and

most of them are Emperor Realm masters. Even though the three holy land disciples are aggressive and arrogant, they won't have

the balls to try and throw everyone else out. Right out, you harm one of us, and you harm us all.

And luckily, the disciples of the other sects outnumber them. If they make a move against anyone, they will surely lose, ' Stacy

thought.

"Follow me!"

She ordered with a wave of her hand and began to lead the rest into the valley.

Stacy was correct in thinking that they wouldn't be attacked. However, being welcwas a farsighted dream. As soon as they

entered the valley, disciples of other sects began to study them with visible hostility in their eyes.

"Hah! This is ridiculous and preposterous. Even losers like you have dared to chere. If you want to live, then | suggest you

leave this place as soon as possible. You stand no chance of getting any sort of treasures from this place."

A voice reached their ears from all around them. Obviously this was a warning.

What was more mysterious was the fact that when Austin and Stacy looked around, they couldn't find any trace of the person who

had warned them. However, a towering, imposing palace, standing right in the middle of the valley did catch their attention.

It was magnificently built and surrounded by numerous powerful arrays. There were even sarrays above the building which

gave off a visible aura of energy around them.

Even a single glance could tell you that the palace was well protected.

In front of the palace was a path, paved all the way across with golden plates, lodged together in several complicated patterns.

They were actually arrays.

Several groups of people were standing around the palace, as if deliberating something. From careful observation, one could tell

that disciples of the ssect had gathered together. People from the three holy lands, as well as from first, second, and even

third grade sects could also be seen.

In any case, the person who had attempted to warn Stacy and her companions had well and truly concealed his location. And he

had done that deliberately.

"That's none of your business,"

Stacy snapped back with a snort at the unknown.

People inside the valley didn't want more people to join them. After all, the more contestants they got, the less shares of the

treasure they would be able to get.

Since Stacy and her crew were Emperor Realm masters, one good thing was that no one dared to pick on them directly.

"The palace is the entrance to the Secret Valley.

age; these arrays are very powerful.

The golden path is the only way to enter the palace and it is well protected.

There are powerful arrays made on the golden path too. Each tyou take a step forward on it, you will land in an altogether

different array, and get stuck there. The further you move forward, the more likely you are to lose your life. No one knows for sure,

but it is said that there are at least a thousand arrays on the path.

Therefore, it is nearly impossible for people to get into the palace if they don't have the jade tokens as our identification cards,"

the man in the bead suddenly talked to Austin.
