She had just reached the preliminary stage of Semi-emperor Realm so she needed tto consolidate it.

He gave Austin an indifferent glance. There was hostility in his eyes.

Austin met his gaze. He was trying to contain himself as he clenched his fist.

'This man really wants to givea hard time. | know that he still wants to take Caroline away from me, ' thought Austin. His eyes

becsharp and fierce.

"You don't have anything to worry. | believe he can handle things well," responded Elder Brendan.

He then turned to the other disciples.

"Everyone, move out!"

As Elder Damian waved his hand, a beast skeleton flew out from his sleeve. It grew bigger and runes on it lit up.

When the beast skeleton was ready, the two elders and the disciples jumped onto it. Then it soared into the air and in an instant

was nowhere to be seen.

After a five-day journey, the skeleton was now above the Dawning Kingdom. Then a few moments later, it landed in the Gold City.

‘Not long ago, the Four-sect Joint Tournament was held in the outskirts of this city. Now, | am here again, ' thought Austin inwardly.

He reminisced that moment he joined a tournament here.

And he was also wondering why Elder Brendan brought them here.

'Is the Purple Immortal's tomb located in the Gold City?"

Soon enough, Austin's question was answered.

Going to the Purple Immortal's tomb would be a long journey so they needed to employ the teleportation array of the Gold City.

That was the reason why Elder Brendan brought them here.

After a while, Elder Brendan led all of them to a huge palace.

The teleportation array was in this building.

No wonder dozens of cultivators were standing at the entrance.

Apparently, they were guarding the palace very well.

Elder Damian just nodded at them.

He then led Elder Brendan, Steward Nolan and all the disciples into the palace.

When they got inside, they saw the magic array at the center of the hall.

This array was set up by a preeminent array expert so it could be used for long-distance teleportation.

Other than the array, there were also two middle-aged men who were sitting on their feet. Their eyes were closed.

Austin had seen them before so he recognized them. They were senior members of the Shiny Sect.

When they felt the presence of other people around them, the two middle-aged men opened their eyes and stood up.

"Elder Brendan, Elder Damian." They greeted the two elders as they made their way towards them.

The two elders smiled at them with a nod.

"Let's get inside," said Elder Brendan.

He stepped into the magic array first.

Then the rest of them followed him.

"We're ready. You can now start the array," said Elder Brendan to one of the middle-aged men.

The man immediately followed his order.

With a nod, the middle-aged man made a dozen gestures and launched the formula that hit the ground where the array was.

A few moments later, the magic array emitted a brilliant light and a spatial force twisted its surrounding.

An incredibly strong spatial force sent everyone in the array into a spatial teleportation passage.

Austin was both curious and amazed. This was his first tto go through a long-distance magic array.

After a while, he felt that his feet touched the ground.

As he looked around to check the surroundings, he found himself in a well-guarded palace.

He was still standing in the magic array.

But he was aware that he was not in the Gold City anymore. He surmised that he was now in a city far away from Gold City.

There were five men guarding the palace. Upon seeing Austin, the elders and the other disciples, the five men studied them

cautiously.

"We are travelers. Please start the teleportation array and send us to the Cyan City," said Elder Brendan. He flashed a friendly

smile to the five cultivators.

He then waved his hand and a dozen crystals cout and floated in front of the guards.

The five men immediately realized that Elder Brendan was a strong master and they could not risk their lives by offending him.

Hence, they took the crystals.

One of the men nodded in agreement and made several gestures to the array.

Soon after, the magic array started working.

The strong teleportation power enveloped Austin and the other men in the array. In a flash, they disappeared in the hall.

Under Elder Brendan's leadership, the group was transported six times which meant they passed by six cities as well.

When they were in the sixth teleportation array, Elder Brendan led all of them out of it.

They found out that the array was in a big city.

"We're now in the Celestial City," introduced Elder Brendan.

"It will take us half a day from here to the Purple Immortal's tomb. Let's all go now," he added.

'So this is Celestial City, ' thought Austin.

They walked out of the city altogether. Then Elder Damian took out his beast skeleton. All of them got onto it and continued their

journey.

Half a day had passed.

A town cinto their view.

As they were approaching the town, they saw that it was crowded with people.

Even the mountains nearby the town were filled with a great number of cultivators.

Meanwhile, a huge number of people from afar were also on their way to the town.

Apparently, the Purple Immortal's tomb was in the vicinity of this town.

Elder Brendan took all of them to a place where they could stay.

"All of you, just wait here. No one is allowed to go alone," said Elder Brendan to the thirty disciples.

They were heading towards the area with towering mountains. While they were on their way, their views were blurred by the mist.

Austin knew that the three of them were going to check the situation first.

"You're just at the Semi-emperor Realm but you have the balls to join us in exploring the tomb. You're unbelievable! You're giving

yourself too much credit, man,"

Will teased while giving him a look with contempt.

"That's none of your business," snapped Austin.

He faced Will with creased brows.

"Humph! Who says so? A loser like you will surely just hold us back so | think it's better that you back out," said Will.

Apparently, he was really trying to provoke Austin.

"Why don't you just go and find a safe place to hide? Then you can join us again once we're back from our exploration," suggested

Will in disdain.

Austin tried his best to control his temper. He wouldn't allow Will to ruin him.

With a fierce gaze, he just looked Will in the eye.
