Even though all of these weapons and magic treasures had been destroyed for a long tand lost their energy, the remaining

aura radiating off them told Austin and the fire source beast that they had once been very advanced and powerful.

Among them were smagic treasures that Austin yearned for.

The fire source beast and Austin traipsed through every abandoned building, checking every crevice as they explored the space

filled with fire.

Suddenly, the fire source beast screamed and pointed into the distance.

"Hey!

Look! There is a corpse over there!"

Austin's eyes followed the beast's finger and spotted a large corpse lying crumpled on the ground.

Wasting no time, they ran over to it.

"It's a corpse of your race!"

Austin whispered, looking up at the fire source beast in shock and then back down at the corpse to examine it further.

"Yes.

It does belong to my race,"

the fire source beast answered as he looked at the corpse with a sad expression on his face.

The dead body was covered with wounds from previously inflicted injuries.

Because of this, they deduced that he had struggled a lot before his death.

"When we got here, | never thought | would encounter a member of my race. Unfortunately, he is already gone,"

the fire source beast added, sighing.

For as long as he had been alive, he had been living alone and he had never met anyone from his own race.

This was the first the had seen one.

Sadly, this stranger died a long tago.

Looking at the corpse in front of him, the fire source beast gritted his teeth and glanced at the ground with tears in his eyes. He

said,

"This space used to be the territory of the fire source beast race. | wonder who invaded it, killed my companions, and destroyed

our home."

After standing there and paying their respects for a little while longer, the fire source beast found a nice place nearby and buried

the corpse from his own race.

Then the duo continued to move forward.

Along the way, they stumbled upon more corpses from the fire source beast race.

It seemed like all these fire source beasts had experienced a rough battle before they perished.

The fire source beast buried every corpse that they found.

"I'm making it my mission to find out who has done this. Whoever it is invaded our hand killed so many of my companions

must pay the price. If this enemy is still alive, | will find them and enact my revenge!"

the fire source beast swore through gritted teeth.

"Wait.

That's strange! This corpse is not from your race!"

Austin shouted as he turned and saw something unusual ahead of them.

Another corpse was lying close by, but this one was emitting a gloomy mist and had an overall disgusting appearance.

"It's not!

He might be the enemy who invaded this space!"

the fire source beast exclaimed. With the idea in his mind, he rushed to the corpse for closer examination.

Just the look of this corpse was gross.

Its body had no features at all—no eyes, ears, mouth, or nose!

Any skin that it might have had was covered in black hair, and there were purulent sores from its head to its toes. Apart from that,

a stream of smelly liquid was constantly flowing out from these sores.

Over the top of it floated a layer of chilled mist and a strange law that Austin had never seen before.

From tto time, shrill cries could be heard from inside the frigid mist, making their hair stand on end.

They seemed to be coming from frightening ghosts that were hidden in the mist.

As the cold mist washed over Austin and the fire source beast, it felt like there were endless evil spirits pouncing on the duo.

Both Austin and the fire source beast felt hesitant as they looked down at the weird corpse. They exchanged a single look and

quickly retreated.

"What kind of creature is that? It's so terrifying that sof its auras still feel overwhelming, even after its death. | wonder how

powerful this creature was when it was still alive."

Both Austin and the fire source beast looked at it from a distance with amazement coating their faces.

"Let's ignore it for now. We should keep moving,"

the fire source beast suggested. He didn't destroy the corpse. Instead, he took Austin down a different path and they continued to

explore.

The fire space was enormous.

Despite trying, neither Austin nor the fire source beast could perceive the whole space with their spiritual senses, so they had no

way of knowing what might lie ahead.

Austin and the fire source beast were forced to explore the space using extrcautiousness.

As they walked, the duo discovered that in addition to the terrible flames and advanced law of fire, there were also sunknown

dangers in this space, so they proceeded with even more caution than before.

The weird corpse they had encountered not long ago was an example of an unknown danger.

"Hey, look! There's another corpse over there!

Let's go and check it out, but remember to be careful,"

the fire source beast shouted.

Before they approached it, Austin released his spiritual sense to perceive the situation.

Sure enough, he found a corpse lying in the shabby ruins in front of them.

They ran over to it and

saw that it was also a disgusting corpse!

It resembled a terrifying monster!

The neck of the corpse was as thin as the tip of a needle but its head was very big. To be more precise, its head resembled an ugly,

black pumpkin and its abdomen bulged upwards like a small hill.

The corpse's feet were as small and thin as two sticks.

Allin all, this corpse gave Austin and the fire source beast chills.
