Sof them had climbed up the mountain in order to trap sdiabolic beasts to exchange them with elixirs on the market, while some, they had chere to seek for a mighty opponent. Although dangerous, fighting with a strong, prominent diabolic beast would be helpful for their actual refining trial and would be able to propel their cultivation base strength.

Needless to say, there were also fighters from the Sky Sect, the Ghost Puppet Sect and the New Moon Sect.

As for them, their goal as to why they entered the area was very simple: to hunt Austin down.

With each of them mounting a horse, they galloped towards the Dragon City.

Austin had known from the beginning that the girl in purple was from the Veritable Demon Sect.

After the continuous secret investigations on them earlier, Austin had found out their intentions of departing from their sect.

Much to his surprise, they had actually left their sect in order to investigate him. After setting off from the Veritable Demon Sect of the Dragon City, they call the way up to Sunset Mountain. And that was when they met him.

Although curious about their true intentions as to why they were following him, Austin still did not want to get close to the girl in purple and ask her the true reason. The girl was too obstinate and unruly to give him any information that was important to him.

Originally, he had wanted to get rid of them, but he felt concerned about their safety. After thinking his situation over and over and evaluating the dangerous circumstances the girls were in, he decided to escort them back. Otherwise, deserting them in the mountain full of dangers would leave his conscience unsettled. The Veritable Demon Sect of the Dragon City was still far away, however.

Although the red flood dragon horses Austin bought were high-level diabolic beasts and could almost gallop at the speed of light, it still took them seven long days before they arrived at the Dragon City.

"Hey lecher! Why are we rushing towards the Dragon City? What are you planning? Are you trying to get rid of us?" the girl in purple asked, her manner as haughty as ever.

The moment they reached the Dragon City and they found a place near the Veritable Demon Sect for a respite, the girl in purple had already figured out Austin's true intentions of taking them back to where they cfrom.

Although the girl was simple-minded and straight-forward, it didn't mean that she was stupid.

After so many days of fighting and overcoming difficulties together, they had begun to understand each other's characters a lot.

The girl now surely had acknowledged that Austin was not a man of libertine, and he would have the conscience to leave them behind.

So even if the fact that he gawked at her naked body was still a thing, she knew from her understanding of him now that he did not do it on purpose at the time.

As much as she wanted to get rid of the nicknshe had for him, since she had started using it from the beginning, it wasn't easy for her to change it as she was already deeply accustomed to it. Moreover, she did not see the necessity of calling him by his true name. Plus, her calling him 'lecher' could also be their thing, something that Austin would remember her by. Your dad must have been looking for you desperately," she meekly suggested.

She was anxious and fearful thinking about how the sect leader would punish her for leaving with the princess without any prior permission.

Her domineering manner was very obvious in her tone.

Despite that, he found it extremely funny to see a princess yearn for his tough, rootless life and treat it as something that she had longed for, like a life goal.

In order for him to get rid of her, he started to persuade her softly.

"Dahlia," he called out her ndirectly in a gentle tone.

Truth be told, it was his first tto call her by her name, and surely, it made him awkward and shy.

"I know you want to be with this group.

But | have surgent issues to deal with in the next few days.

Just as he was to dissuade her more, a high, vibrant voice of a man interrupted him.

"Dahlia, how dare you cout for so long without telling me? | have been looking for you everywhere.

See how | will punish you!" The voice was so clear and filled with fury that they all looked at each other with fear in their eyes for a second before turning around to look for the source of the sound.
