After all the cultivators were divided into groups, each of them was given a map and a jade slip that would enable them to
communicate with others using their spiritual senses.
After that, all the team leaders set out with their members.
There was a huge port in the Trident Island.
In that said port, ten giant ships were berthed, all in a line.
Each ship had two floors and were made of solid wood, and all of their figureheads were a mighty lifelike dragon which had five
claws.
The members of each team then boarded their assigned ships. Since they already had responsibilities, they went straight to the
area they were supposed to be in.
The four leaders, one captain and three lieutenants, of the group which Austin was in were in the premium stage of Master Realm.
The captain was a thin, handsmiddle-aged man dressed in black. His nose was so sharp that it looked like an eagle's
dangerous beak. His eyes were also big and piercing.
"Go on board!"
The captain bellowed to more than a hundred of his members who was at the port while pointing at one of the ten giant ships.
After everything was set and ready, each ship reeled their anchors in, untied their ropes, hoisted the sails and sailed out towards
the unknown.
A flag donning a five-claw dragon waved proud and mighty on each ship's pole. For the unfamiliar, this emblem represented the
Heavenly Dragon Holy Kingdom--powerful, intimidating, conquering.
Each ship looked mighty as it sailed through the waters.
And just like a fish, it rode the waves faster and faster.
On the deck, Austin leaned on the ship's rails and gazed out to the wide open sea.
It was already dusk and the sun was slowly sinking on the horizon. The spectacular sunset stretched into the sea and the shadows
of the ships were all on its surface. It was a gorgeous sight. As the vastness of the waters started to get hidden by the darkness,
the view only becmore beautiful. It was poetry.
Most of the cultivators on the ship had never been out on the sea before. Nearly all of them were attracted by the dreamlike
seascape. They all looked very excited--they even started talking about it to each other eagerly, though in hushed tones, as if they
didn't want to disturb what was in front of them.
Breathing in deeply, Austin looked out into the distance, falling in love with the scenery. Then, he noticed it.
Laird and all the other cultivators in his team were in a tight huddle talking about something. Their voices were low and so Austin
could not make out what it was.
They were glancing at him from tto tas if they were planning to do something sneaky behind his back.
His suspicions becmore solid as he realized that it was just him who was not in the said huddle. It was intentional that he was
left out.

Then it clicked--Laird was inciting the other members to attack him together.
In that small group, however, all the cultivators except for Laird were only at the Imperial Realm.
Because of that, Austin regarded their conspiracy as not worthy of his tnor attention.
If Laird was able to convince the other members of the party to attack Austin, he really wouldn't mind killing them all.
He was confident about his cultivation base. These people wouldn't be able to defeat him. If a duel happened then and there, they
would be the ones to die.
Austin never had tor mercy for people who wanted to kill him.
After two days' worth of voyage, their ship finally arrived at its destination.
It was berthed at a small, desolate island.
At first glance, it seemed like no one was inhabiting it. No sailor knew the nof this island. Probably because it didn't have a
nin the first place.
After the cultivators gathered on the deck, the captain started making arrangements. Ten small groups were formed and they
would walk in a head-tail fan shape.
After all of those were settled, he bellowed to his members to get off the ship, marking the start of the searching task.
Of course, if they met any high level sea beasts during their search, they must kill them in order to get their beast cores.
In this task, there were two targets that they should achieve: one was to seek the palace of the ancient master, and the other one
was to hunt ssea beasts and obtain their beast cores which the imperial pill refiners would use to refine pills.
Laird waved his hand and about a dozen cultivators flew towards the sdirection with him as they left the ship.
All the other small teams from this group followed their own team leaders and flew out of the ship.
They glanced at Austin. Whether it be voluntary or by accident, their gazes hinted they would do something to him sooner or later.
Austin quickly took notice of their malicious glances. Without missing a beat, he sneered back at them.
If worse cto worst, he would happily kill them all.
'They really had the nerve, huh? Pathetic losers, ' he thought.
After an hour's worth flying, Laird stopped.
"Attention," he said authoritatively. "There is a demonic beast we need to hunt. Be ready to attack it,"
he said, staring at the sea surface below.
All the cultivators in the group halted and stared at the surface beneath them.
With bated breaths, they waited for the sea beast to leap out.
Moments later, movement could clearly be seen happening just below the surface.
Slowly, ripples started to appear. With each passing second, it becbigger and bigger, and the water becredder and
redder. It was like the water was dyed red by blood.
Gurgle... gurgle... gurgle...
Bubbles started coming out of the water. At the stime, tremendous demonic aura rushed out of the sea and into the sky.
"Boom!"
As soon as that noise was heard, a giant monster leapt out from the sea! It was exuding strong demonic aura and looked incredibly
frightening.
Its blood red demonic aura was so strong that around the monster, it seemed that many other fishes had died just because of it.
At first, Austin couldn't make out what the creature was. Soon, however, he recognized it: it was a giant octopus!
And it was a Beast Master!
Its unprecedented power caught everyone on the team off guard!
Although it was just a low level Beast Master, its cultivation base would rival a man at the preliminary or Medium stage of Master
Realm.
But aside from that, its size was enough to easily kill powerful warriors. Its blood red body occupied about 666 square meters and
had eight huge tentacles!
On its neck was a human-like face. 'The eyes, ears, nose and mouth were all in the right place!" Austin thought, confused and
scared at the stime.
It seemed that the whole crew had already seen the face, as fear was already evident in their faces.
Soon enough, the giant octopus started roaring. Staggered sharp teeth could be seen as it opened its mouth from tto time,
slinging it dangerous-looking saliva on the sea.
About a dozen cultivators were floating above this octopus, and they all felt its intense, bloodthirsty, cruel breath rolling up towards
them.
Sensing danger, the octopus turned its head to the cultivators above it and glared at them. It was obvious that it had taken offense
because they decided to trespass on its waters. With its anger cthe putrid smell of blood and rotting flesh.
Many shadows appeared as it stretched out its eight tentacles in the wind. It was a horrendous scene.
The octopus’ plan was clear--drag down the cultivators above it so that it could feast on them!
The jade slip that was given to every cultivator had a record of the sea beasts that they needed to hunt.
This kind of Beast Master, an octopus which had eight tentacles, was on the list.
As their job started, the cultivators all stared at the octopus, vigilant, in case it decided to attack them.
Despite it being huge and powerful, they were still afraid that they would spend too much effort in killing it.
Well, all of them except Austin.
He was excited. The fear that he had initially felt was now gone. All he wanted to do was kill the monster!

A smile now graced his lips as he stared at the danger in front of him.
'l am glad that | cto the Middle World Waters.
It's so easy to meet a low level Beast Master like this one!
If I absorb its vital energy, | will definitely increase my strength tremendously! How wonderful!
he thought. The excitement that was running through his veins was incredibly high that he started salivating!
With that, Austin started conjuring up a plan of attack. He could not let such an opportunity pass!
However, he suddenly realized that he hadn't taken the Magical Beast Elixir yet.
Besides, it was impossible to kill the octopus alone and practice his Beast Energy-extracting Skill. And if they kill the monster
together, he wouldn't be the only one interested in its vital energy.
While Austin was lost in his thoughts, the other cultivators were already looking at the their group leader. They were waiting for
Laird's decision.
"Leader, will we kill this beast or not?"
a cultivator asked Laird tentatively.
"Kill it!
I will attack it from the front. You surround it and distract it!"
Laird ordered after a short moment of hesitation. He cto his decision after he measured the octopus's strength.
Holding a golden yellow long spear in his hand, he released strong spear intent and focused it on the giant octopus.
The other cultivators dispersed quickly and surrounded the octopus, just like Laird ordered.
Suddenly a whirring rang out.
That octopus moved and its demonic aura increased a lot. As the wind blew, its eight tentacles got longer and longer until they
reached several hundred meters. Within seconds, it was ready to fight with the trespassing cultivators.
Austin was behind the octopus when he suddenly heard someone call his name.
"You, Austin, attack it from the front!"
Laird ordered unblinkingly as he stepped back a few meters.
The leader of each small team indeed had all the right to order his members, but it was clear that this was a sabotage.
Austin narrowed his eyes and thought, 'Oh?
In this situation, he wants to makesuffer?’
About a dozen of cultivators who belonged to the steam with Austin and the other teams stared at him, eager to see what
would happen. They wouldn't help him because they didn't want to challenge the authority of their leaders.
