The expression on Melanie's face darkened, and she could hardly hold onto her phone. Xander looked worried

and asked, “What's wrong?”

Melanie cback to her senses and looked at Xander. “Cedric wants to meet me.”

Cedric stared sharply at Melanie. “Are you sure about that?”

“Is Eugene giving you the courage to speak tolike this? Melanie, you'd better not forget you were once an

employee of LeapCo. Even if that contract was taken by Eugene, so what? | have ways and means to teach you a
