Chapter 243: The Next Program
It was a very soft sigh, so probably no one could hear it.
Mo Bei simply stood with her hands in her pockets, her eyes still cold.
Feng Nai watched the person before him and spoke up again nonchalantly. “Let’s go, support little brother. We’ll begin our next program.”
Next program?
Mo Bei looked over without moving.
However, Feng Nai’s face broke into a sudden smile. There was no warmth in his eyes. His right hand reached out and, just like that, he draped his entire arm across Mo Bei’s shoulder. “Why? Are you going to chicken out now?”
“I won’t.” Mo Bei’s voice was very indifferent, but her steps still faltered for a moment. She was slowly getting used to getting along with boys.
Feng Nai shifted his eyes away. His face was covered by the mask, so no expression could be perceived.
Meanwhile, the people crowding around were confused by this sight.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtWhat about the rejection?
Why had this guy still put an arm around the little brother’s shoulder?
What exactly did this mean?
Feng Nai was merely moving closer to make it easy to observe the other person.
Evidently, things such as confessions didn’t seem special to Mo Nan.
Even though Mo Nan had been rejected in front of so many people, as long as this wasn’t genuine fondness, he probably didn’t mind.
Heh.
It made sense too.
To a person with a girlfriend, confessions were normal.
Even though he was already finding it meaningless, in order to ease his irritable emotions, Feng Nai still called a cab.
Mo Bei could sense the coldness coming from Feng Nai.
When they got on, the driver asked, “Where to?”
Both of them sat in the back, but there was a fair distance between them.
Mo Bei did not speak. After all, she did not know where they were heading next.
However…
“State your house address.” Feng Nai’s voice was really cold. He was wearing a black mask, and his right hand was still playing with his cell phone. His face was turned, so he was looking at the scenery outside the window. He actually seemed rather absent-minded.
However, Mo Bei looked at him after hearing his instructions. “Renhe Apartments…”
The address was given, but her eyes did not leave Feng Nai.
Probably because he had also realized that Trouble Lin’s Little Brother was looking at him, Feng Nai turned his head around and seemed to smile lazily. “What? Feeling down because there isn’t a second program?”
Mo Bei’s gaze was distant. “As long as you’re happy, Captain.”
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏm“I’m not.” Feng Nai spoke very slowly. He was leaning back, making his legs appear even longer. “So this isn’t the end.”
Mo Bei was rather emotionless as she responded with an “mm” sound.
When Feng Nai saw that, the color in his eyes darkened.
Other than his girlfriend, Trouble Lin’s Little Brother really didn’t care about anything else.
Mo Bei could sense the aura on him becoming even colder, but she did not understand why his resentment level increased again.
Subsequently, the two of them did not converse throughout the journey.
Instead, Feng Nai picked up a call and only said, “No need, wait where you are.”
“Young Master Feng is really polite.” The person then added, “I’ve already come and bought all the items that you wanted. There’s even one more item that will certainly help you, Young Master Feng.”
Feng Nai was absent-minded. “Got it.”
“Then I shall wait for you to arrive. Why don’t you bring the person to my party for some fun, Young Master Feng?”
Feng Nai used a hand to support his chin. “Not going to.”
Three words. No more, no less.
The person laughed on the other end. “I know that Young Master Feng keeps his nose clean, but to deal with people that pretend to be girls online, you ought to bring him out and let everyone know. You probably don’t know, but such a person is most likely gay. Test him and you’ll find out.”
