Chapter 4107
F*ck!
Darryl could hardly contain his rage at what had just happened.
Grunt was a scumbag. He even used Darryl as a scapegoat to escape. Admittedly, that was a pretty smart move.
Morticia raised her eyebrows upon noticing Grunt's escape. Mockery crept into her expression. "Running away in the face of
confrontation. It is hilarious that a man of such cowardice could gain enough of the Nine Heaven Emperor's favor to become
a general."
Morticia turned her gaze onto Darryl. "You're the Nine Heaven Sage that the Ancient Ancestor had appointed? The human
Darryl Darby?"
Upon being revived by the Archfiend Antigonus, the twelve Fiend Martyrs had gone around sniffing for information
regarding the Godly Region.
"Pretty lady..."
Darryl panicked at the interrogation. He cracked a pained smile. "Don't listen to Grunt. If I were the Nine Heaven Sage,
would my acupoint be sealed? There's no way I'd be stuck here, right?"
Thinking frantically, Darryl barreled on. "I entered the Godly Region by pure mistake through a portal and was unlucky

Darryl spoke with an expression of utmost seriousness while his heart raced
uncomfortably. He said a silent prayer.
The Fiend Martyr had never seen him, right? He hoped with all his might she would not see
through his lies, or she would attack him. He would rather have Grunt kill him compared to
dying at her hands.
The man was not Darryl? 1
Morticia did not respond as she sized him up.
"Pretty lady!"
Morticia's gaze filled Darryl with discomfort. He cracked out a careful smile. "I'm not the
Nine Heaven Sage. Grunt lied to you so that you'd be distracted enough for him to escape.
"I'm a victim too-"
Morticia's expression was icy as she cut him off. "Shut up. And stop calling me that."
Morticia seemed to realize something, her eyes sparkling dangerously.' You have the
power of the Bird Ancestor in you. How dare you lie to me, Darryl Darby?"
Morticia was boiling with anger. She had been able to feel the mysterious energy that
rippled through Darryl, and that energy came from the power of the Bird Ancestor.
As one of the twelve Fiend Martyrs, Morticia had come across the Four Congenial Beasts
and thus, was no stranger to the power of the Bird Ancestor. One of the pieces of
information she had received regarding the Godly Region had been that the Nine Heaven
Sage possessed that same power.
Morticia could tell that the man was none other than Darryl Darby, the Nine Heaven Sage.
Crap!
Darryl was speechless, so he stood there helplessly.
That Fiend Martyr was far too powerful. He had retracted the aura of the power of the Bird
Ancestor, and she could still sense it.
"Alright!"
Darryl had no choice but to come clean. "Pretty lady... I mean, Honorable Lady, you sure
have a good eye. That's right. I'm Darryl Darby. You got me. I'd like to say beforehand,
though, that I have no interest in being part of the war between the fiend race and the

Since his identity had been exposed, Darryl had no choice but to come clean as well as express where he stood.
"Lies and deceit!"
Morticia's expression could freeze water. She sneered, "You humans know nothing but to cheat and lie. Shut up! One more
word, and I'll destroy your fairy soul."
In a swift move, she grabbed Darryl by the collar. "Since you're the Nine Heaven Sage, you're coming with me to see
Archfiend Antigonus."
With a burst of fiend energy, Morticia soared out of the canyon.
F*ck, that was bad!
As Morticia held him in mid-air, Darryl panicked. He wanted to struggle, but his acupoint had been sealed by Grunt,
rendering him immobile. Darryl felt absolutely hopeless.
Meanwhile, on the other side.
Oliver led thousands of Black Tortoise warriors, as well as Leia, to a quiet valley.
The valley was surrounded by mountains, with a dense forest in its middle. A huge rock was next to the forest. It was a few
meters tall, and under it was a shady clearing.
