Chapter 5069
Ambrose shook his head. "No!"
Despite that, Ambrose was not about to give up. Instead, he smiled and added, "It's okay.
Now we have disguised as guards, it will be easier to search."
Neil nodded and headed toward the palace with Ambrose. Once they had disguised
themselves as guards, they did not encounter any trouble on the way. When the other
patrol guards saw them, they did not ask anything and let them through.
Ambrose and Neil were thrilled. Soon enough, they arrived near a palace after crossing the
boulevard. They saw a huge garden outside of the palace. It had a fake mountain with
water coming down the stream and a nice scene. It was exactly what the royal palace
would look like.
Neil said, "The leader of the Sea Dragon Palace truly knows the finer things in life. They
are just a bunch of pirates, yet they build grand palaces like the royal palace."
Ambrose sneered, "What a pleasure-seeker. I think it won't be long before the Sea Dragon
Palace falls apart."
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtAs they chatted, they passed the garden. At the back of the garden was a luxurious
bedchamber. There were no guards around the bedchamber, but many maids were
guarding it.
Not only that, a baby was crying in the bedchamber.
Sob... Sob
Ambrose and Neil frowned as they noticed it and thought, 'Isn't this a pirate's den? Why is
there a baby?'
While they were confused, a few maids ran into the bedchamber. One of them smiled and
exclaimed, "Hurry up! The Young Master must be hungry. Let's feed him something."
That bedchamber was the place for Morticia and her baby to rest. The only thing was that
Morticia needed to cultivate, so she left the baby in the bedchamber and had the maids
look after the baby.
'Young Master?'
Ambrose and Neil looked into each other's eyes and vaguely came to a conclusion.
Neil said, "Didn't the leader of the Sea Dragon Palace call herself the Empress? I think
that's her son. As for the powerful man we fought, maybe that's the baby's father."
Neil had unconsciously treated Antigonus as the baby's father since only he was qualified
to receive the admiration from The Empress when he was so strong.
Ambrose nodded to show his agreement, "I think we are at the wrong place. " Then he
signaled Neil to investigate other places. He did not think there was anything special with
the baby, and he was better off finding Heather's location.
Soon, they left the bedchamber. While they walked, they continued to observe their
surroundings.
Suddenly, they arrived at the southwest corner of the palaces. They saw many newly built
stone houses along with many people patrolling the area.
Since it was near morning, they could see that some of the stone houses had their lights
on. They saw the elites of the community locked up in the stone houses.
The elites who were tied up were the contestants in the tournament. They were captured
and brought to the stone houses.
'Found it! It's here!'
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmAlthough they had not seen Heather, they were very excited. Unfortunately, Heather had
also participated in the tournament and was brought there. Hence, she was locked up in
one of the stone houses.
As for the exact stone house, they would need to check each one slowly. However, there
were so many guards guarding it. They would be easily noticed if they started to look for
Heather.
Neil took a deep breath and whispered, "We don't have much of a choice.
I'm going to expose myself to distract the guards. Then, you can go find Heather."
Ambrose furrowed his brows and hesitated. It was a good idea, but it was also very risky. If
Neil was captured, then it would not be worth the loss.
Just when Ambrose could not make up his mind, a man slowly walked toward the stone
houses. He walked very steadily with an expressionless face. The air was covered with
terrifying breath.
It was Antigonus.
After resting for a while in the main hall, he decided to take a stroll since he had nothing to
do.
