Chapter 5285
"Heather!"
Ambrose yelled, rushing out to chase after her.
Heather had decided to leave, and there was no going after her.
All at once, Ambrose leaned on a stone pillar outside the door as he felt all the energy had
been sucked out of him all at once.
'Why won't you believe me, Heather?' 3
Darryl, along with Lindsey and Preston, finally arrived at the Pure Yang
Division main altar in the Cryolet Continent after a few hours on the road. 2
Lindsey looked around in awe at the beautiful view of the Pure Yang Division, filled with
amazement.
"I can't believe a place so gorgeous exists."
She was unconscious in the underground town for a thousand years.
Understandably, she was overwhelmed by witnessing such beauty upon waking up.
"Do you like it?" Darryl asked with a smile.
Lindsey nodded vigorously. "I'm obsessed."
The look on her face tickled Darryl thoroughly, and he stretched out a hand to stroke her

"Good. This is where you'll live from now on."
Just then, Preston had a look of amazement on his face as well.
"The Pure Yang Division really is paradise on earth. I haven't been here in twenty years."
As he spoke, Preston marveled to himself.
Darryl chuckled. "Do you have history with the Pure Yang Division?"
Preston nodded, unable to hide his arrogance. "I had a sword duel with the reigning head
of the Pure Yang Division twenty years ago." "Who won?" Lindsey scrambled to ask,
curiosity all over her face.
Lindsey and Preston had gotten to know each other on the journey, and thus, Lindsey felt
comfortable enough to speak her mind as she pleased in front of him.
Before Preston could respond, Darryl could not help but start chuckling." Look at the proud
look on his face! It's obvious you won, yes?”
Preston nodded proudly. "Well, of course. The Pure Yang Division's cultivation methods
may have significantly evolved over the years, but they've still got quite a way to go
compared to me.
"The guy that fought me then was defeated in ten blows. To tell the truth, I don't think the
Pure Yang Division's skills are that great at all..."
Halfway through his sentence, Preston realized belatedly that the man standing before
him was Darryl, the head of the Elixir Sector of the Pure Yang Division.
He scrambled to say, "Of course, Master, you would be an exception..."
At the panicked look on his face, Lindsey could not help but laugh.
Darryl waved his hands good-naturedly. "No need to be so careful in front of me. I'm not
one of those relentlessly noble warriors."
As he spoke, Darryl noticed the gigantic sword on his back and thought briefly. "I don't
think you should take this with you. It might draw unwanted attention."
Preston was one of the best swordsmen in the world, and the Pure Yang Division might not
know another day of peace if he were to be recognized.
"You're right, Master."
Preston nodded before taking the sword off him. He looked around before putting the
sword against a large rock.
Just like Darryl, all Preston wanted was to learn sword skills in silence, not to call upon
attention to himself.
Another thought came to Darryl as Preston put the sword away. "Oh, right!

"Alright. Let's go."
Upon settling everyone, Darryl set off with the two once again.
Just as they entered, Cormac could be seen heading over with a broad smile as he patted
Darryl on the shoulder.
"Haha! Thank goodness you're back, Brother Darryl. Sofia returned to tell us that Vincent
from the Heavenly Ocean Sect was finding trouble with you, and I rushed over
immediately, but we couldn't find you at all. Seeing you alright makes me feel a lot
better."
As he spoke, Cormac's gaze was full of concern.
Cormac did not know that Darryl and Vincent had entered the secret underground town of
the Heavenly Secret Palace, and that was why Cormac could not find them.
Darryl smiled lightly. "Thank you for your concern, Master."
As he spoke, Sofia came rushing over. She tugged at Darryl's arm. "You're back, Sect
Master. I was just starting to get worried."
Following that, Sofia stopped short at the sight of Lindsey standing behind Darryl before
marveling, "Oh my, what a pretty little girl."
