Chapter 5435
Crap!
Seeing as the barrier was completely fine, Darryl was both frustrated and helpless.
Yet it was just then that a wave of murderous intent could be sensed from behind him.
A chill ran down Darryl's spin as he turned to look. What greeted him was Rachelle
gripping her long sword, staring at him coldly with a gaze full of murderous intent.
Prince Auten had specially instructed Rachelle to kill Darryl if he made any attempt to
escape, and Rachelle had taken the words in completely.
Seeing as Darryl was trying to break out of the formation, she did not hesitate before
striking.
"To hell with you, Darryl Darby."
Just then, Rachelle spat the words out coldly. Her long sword slashed through the air in the
direction of Darryl's chest.
F*ck, this woman...
Darryl was about to lash out, but held back upon remembering that Rachelle was currently
under control.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtThe next second, Darryl held back the pressure of the energy in the enchanted barrier to
duck to the side, all while calling out to Rachelle," Wake up, Rachelle..."
Due to his powers being usurped by the second, Darryl screamed his throat hoarse to get
the words out as his body grew weaker by the second. Yet Rachelle was also facing the
consequences of the barrier, and her blow moved far too slow and Darryl was able to
dodge it easily enough.
Whew...
Having struck nothing, Rachelle did not give up in the slightest. She bit her lip, charging
once again.
Darryl was speechless at the sight, dodging as he continued to yell, "Wake up, Rachelle
Lloyd! You're not going to survive if you kill me as well..."
Yet Rachelle did not hear him at all, her long sword slashing sparks into the air as she
continued to launch attack after attack in Darryl's direction.
Seeing as there was nowhere else to run, Darryl took a deep breath. He first dodged
Rachelle's blow, before casting one of his own at lightning speed at her shoulder.
Despite being held down by the enchanted barrier, Darryl was still far stronger than
Rachelle was then. He had not wanted to hurt her before, but had no choice as she got
closer and closer.
Darryl did not use his full strength with this blow. Yet it was still enough to knock Rachelle
unconscious, her body going limp as she hit the ground.
"I didn't want to do that, but I didn't have a choice.” Darryl's expression was nothing but
helpless as he muttered the words to himself, casting a glance at the unconscious
Rachelle before trying to think of a way out of the formation.
Crap...
Was he really going to have his powers usurped completely, and die right here?
Just then, Darryl was nothing but helpless as his powers continued to flow out of him at an
incredibly rapid rate.
"Unnhhh..."
Yet just then, Rachelle let out a low groan of pain from where she lay.
The groan had an irresistible charm to it, making Darryl's head spin.
He came back to his senses quickly, turning to look. All that could be seen was Rachelle
stirring slowly with a beet-red face, her brows knitted tightly as if she was in pain.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmIt was obvious that the blow had not completely knocked Rachelle out. And under the
onslaught of the pressure in the Fairy Slaying Formation, Rachelle was starting to give out.
Despite the fact that it was Darryl's powers that the formation was mostly taking from, the
pressure was far from what Rachelle could handle either.
Crap!
Darryl cursed to himself, taking in the sight of Rachelle in pain.
Rachelle looked as if she was about to enter a psychotic break. If she were to not receive
help in time, she would be done for upon entering the psychotic break.
Sensing this, Darryl wanted nothing more than to help. Yet he could barely help himself,
let alone do anything for Rachelle.
"It hurts, it hurts really bad..."
Just then, Rachelle's face was flushed crimson as her elixir field was knocked askew and
she lost all sense of logic. "Am I going to die..."
Darryl was beside himself with panic at the situation, and could not help but say feebly, "If
you can hear me, Rachelle, hold your breath and condense your spirit at once. Or else
you're going to be in deep trouble..." 2
At Darryl's words, Rachelle's gaze flashed as she fell forwards, catching Darryl in an
embrace.
