Part 3 Chapter 1

Nora’s POV

The first part of the curse has been broken and I can feel the power surge through everyone. It feels

like the witch herself is crying and cursing at the same time. I looked at the king and then I looked at

Melinda and I thought something was strange when she pointed at me and I turned around.

Just in time to see the attack from Luca. Fire came towards us but hit

the shield instead and the entire shield was set on fire. The shield was created as a globe over us and

now it was on fire. I felt Melinda’s exhaustion as she was trying to keep it there.

*Melinda drop the shield now* I mindlink her and I felt her surprise but she still dropped it.

The fire died out with the shield and Helios and Ares huffed. They growled at the same time as we

could see Luca come walking. I shifted back to my human form and I picked up my torn nightdress but

it still worked.

“Luca, leave.” I will not come to your side, ever” I say to him and he throws his hands up in the air and

starts laughing, like a maniac

I looked up just in time to move as a fireball came raining down.

“Watch out everyone” I yell and all move to get away from the fireballs.

“Nora, my beautiful Nora. Your soul is mine” Luca continues and Helios attacks before I can warn him.

Luca sends out magic and sends him blasting backwards and Ares

roars and puts himself in front of me.

*Nora, run* Ares says but I shake my head.

I feel for the link to the moon goddess but it is silent and I think that I had it wrong about the gift.

*Nora, you need to touch him* Aurelie whines while Lillie growls.

I walk around Ares even if he growls. I just slip away from him and walk straight to Luca that looks like

he won me over.

“Finally, you are mine” he says and pulls me to him and he kisses me.

I feel disgusted when he does and I hold back as I feel the bile rise in my throat. I stretch up my hands

and place them at his head on each side. Then I let Aurelie help me and I am now swept into his

memories.

But this time we are looking at the memories from his wife’s point of view instead. She felt curious the

first time she saw him and she felt affection for him. They were seeing each other in secret for about six

months. Luca proposed and they got married and she was so happy but then Luca had to leave for a

while.

Luca was gone for about two months and the first two weeks, she cried and wailed of her loss of him

but then she turned cold and lastly she got freed from the love spell and her mind became clear.

She had never loved him in the first place, it was just Luca’s selfish wishes and he accidentally put a

spell on her so his feelings were mirrored in her.

“I didn’t know” Luca says and I look at him.

“Now, you do” I say and then I show him my memories

When I grew up in my former pack, happy and then my wolf never

came and I was miserable. I met Ben, Daniel, Andrei, Grey, Linus, Tristan and Helios. Helios was my

shining star and I felt myself get the— will to live again.

I came here to the lycan kingdom and they declared me princess and then I met Mia and Ares. The

problems and tragic that followed, the coma and after that, the memory loss, Maya and even Luca. All

memories flitted past us but one thing remained. My love for my mates, true love.

I let that emotion fill Luca’s heart to the brim and he became sad because he wanted that feeling as

well. He broke down.

“I can give you this feeling but not by myself” I whisper at him and he looks at me with tears in his eyes.

“How?” he asks with such desperation in his voice:

“Artemis, your mother” I say and I could see this tiny light of hope in his eyes and he nodded.

“I would love to meet her” he says and I smile sadly.

“She would like to meet you to” I say and I felt Aurelie press against

me

“But first would you like to meet your sister?” I ask and he smiles

“Yes, can I?” he asks and I smile back

“When I release my hands from you, my mates will pull me away and you need to let them. Don’t fight

and I will let you meet them okay?” I say and he seems worried but with a deep breath he agrees

I close my eyes and let my surroundings fade and I let Lillie and

Aurelie guide me back to the garden behind the castle. I felt tingles on my back and I knew by instinct

that it was Helios and Ares was rubbing my arms and whispering to me.

I opened my eyes and met Luca’s eyes as well and then I let my hands fall down and just as I guessed

Helios seized the moment to pull me away while Ares forced Luca down on his knees.

“Wait, please” I say as I see Ares’ claws getting near Luca’s throat.

Ares looks up at me and pulls his claws away from him but he still holds him down. I take one step

away from Helios and shift into Aurelie’s form.

*Aurelie I will let you have the control now. Can you take him to your mother?* I say to her and she

agrees in sorrowW.

I sit back with Lillie and just watch as Aurelie approaches Luca. Ares looks up and lets go of Luca as he

realizes that Aurelie was in control this time. Aurelie sits in front of him and she licks him gently on his

cheek and he looks up and starts to s ob.

His cries and tears were so overwhelming that even I felt sorry for him. Then Aurelie does it she gets

up and bares her fangs and before she does it Luca looks at her.

“Please, sister, help me” he whispers in awe and Aurelie whimpers before she throws herself against

him and tears his throat out.
