Part 3 Chapter 6

Nora’s POV

Melinda and I kept ourselves busy along with Anna and Sam and all the children as we opened the

gifts I have been given as a thank you for breaking the curse and awakened as the future queen.

I seriously liked the gift from the moon kingdom, I have never seen or touched a moon stone before. It

is as big as my hand and when I touch it, it glows. Melinda explained that I can store the energy from

the moon inside of it so she promised to help me with that at the next full

moon.

I got a very beautiful dress from the green kingdom, it was taken straight out from a fairytale. I love it

and I promised myself that I would wear it at the ceremony when the king will step down and announce

me as the queen and Helios and Ares as the new kings.

From the knight kingdom I got a laugh as I took up a shimmering armor that looked like it was made

from dragon scales. It was light as a feather but I don’t think anything could break through it. And I also

got my pendant from the women that I had asked about if they could make it and I smiled.

King Isaac and Tristan had sent an even more beautiful dress but I am not sure when I should wear it

as both Melinda and Anna blushed when I held it up against my body. So I put that one down in the box

again.

Then we looked through the others but the most surprising one was from the sun kingdom. A black

envelope. I opened it and one single card came out. I opened it and read what it said.

“Dear Queen Nora. We are happy and truly blessed that you, the chosen one, broke the curse. We

wanted to send you a gift but like many others I can guess, we tried to search for one special and we

hope that you will care for it as it is a special creature from our kingdom.

Inside the envelope you will find something that looks like black sand. You need to go outside and take

the sand in your hand and blow it in the air. And I truly hope that you will realize that all magic isn’t evil.

“Sincerely.”

I looked confused and took the envelope up again and looked inside it before pouring out the black

crystalized sand into my hand. It was black and shimmering but it felt warm in my hand and as curious

as I was I walked outside at once.

I walked to the training area and the warriors that were there moved as I waved at them. Melinda and

the others had followed me and I looked at the flags on top of the castle to see where the wind was

blowing.

Then I stretched out my hand and blew on the sand. At first nothing happened as the sand blew away

by the wind and I was a little bit disappointed. But then it landed in the grass and I gasped by surprise

as the sand took form and formed a black and very shiny egg.

It wasn’t small but rather large and I needed both hands to pick it up and my arms could barely wrap

around it. I looked down at it and put my cheek against it. It was warm and I could hear something

mover inside of it. But the egg wasn’t smooth at all; it felt like it was covered in gravel.

“Oh my goddess, can that really be a..” Anna says but she doesn’t continue

“It’s a dragon egg” Samantha says and comes closer to touch it.

“Really?” But I thought they didn’t exist anymore?” I say.

“They do but they can only be found in the sun kingdom and only the person that has been touched or

blessed by the moon goddess can ever ride one. To hatch the egg you need to give it a name and it

has to accept it” Samantha explains and I nod. Looking down on my egg in

awe.

I carry it inside again and this time we meet Helios, Dave and the king. as they walk down to us. Helios

gasp at the egg that I am holding onto.

“Is that what I think it is?” he says and stares at it before laying a hand

on it.

“Ouch” he says and takes his hand away quickly

“What?” I am confused.

“It gave me an electric spark” he says and shows his palm and just in the middle is a small burn mark.

“It just feels warm to me” I shrug and smile as I feel it move inside it again.

“Yeah, yeah, boost away” Helios pouts and I stand on my toes to kiss. his cheek.

“Do you want to come and open the rest of the gifts with us?” I ask him but he shakes his head.

“No, I need to go find Mariah, so we can plan the ceremony for the evening” Helios says and I nod and

glance quickly at Melinda that seems deep in thought.

“Melinda” Helios suddenly says and I smile but Melinda seems rather shocked like she doesn’t know if

she should stay or run away.

Helios hugs her and Daniel growls but not as fiercely this time and I giggle.

“You are my half sister and I am your half brother. I will always care for you. But what needs to be done

needs to be done right away. don’t fight it and just accept it okay? everything will be alright” Helios.

explains and I raise an eyebrow. Can he be more cryptic?

“You don’t hate me?” Melinda trembles and Helios shakes his head.

“No. A long time ago I felt disappointed but then I discovered that you had no idea who you were to us

so I couldn’t hate you. I don’t know if I love you but I definitely like you, sis” Helios says and kisses her

on top. of her head before walking out and I shake my head and smile at him.

“I wonder how long it will take for him to remember what he forgot” Daniel laughs and I nod my head,

wondering as well.

It took about three minutes before he came back all flustered and he hugged me hard and kissed me

on my lips before going out again. I laughed at him and so did everyone else.

We sat on the big red rug again and started opening the other gifts when I suddenly felt the king beside

me.

“Is that a dragon egg?” he asks and I nod my head.

“Wow” is all he answers and I can feel that he is nervous.

“Don’t be so nervous, I can guarantee that she is extremely nervous on her own” I whisper to him and

he looks at me before glancing in Melinda’s direction and he nods.

“Nora, can we play with this, please?” David interrupts us and I look at what he is holding up.

It’s a ball, the size of a basketball but it’s gold in its color. I nod my head and he seems very fond of the

golden ball.

“It’s an ordinary toy that has been painted in gold.” Dave explains and points at the other toys as well.

Why toys?

“Someone else is also expecting Nora to be pregnant soon”

Tomorrow 24/12 is christmas for me so I will try to update at least one chapter but if I would forget then
