Thrown Into A New World: Let The Punishment Begin!
Chapter 135 - Punish ThemChapter 135 - Punish Them
When King Ophire read the lines that spoke of how the guards had been wrong to disobey the King's orders and had gone over his head to inform the Prince, he was overjoyed.
The reason for this joy was the belief that the King had in his brother.
'He is capable of becoming the next King yet he refuses to train for the same.' He sighed when he recalled the numerous conversations that they had had about this matter.
Ophire had planned to train Draco to become the next King after him yet the young boy would always refuse using the same reason.
No matter how many times they had this conversation, it would end in the same way which further disheartened the King.
'That position belongs to my nephew and not to me.' Was the answer he always gave his brother.
Draco had never coveted the throne and he was willing to carve the path for his nephew, Prince Fritzen so that he might rule the land after his father, King Ophire has gone to rest with their ancestors.
In this regard, both Yvonne and Draco had the same intentions and selfless behavior which was a unique trait that people rarely had.
They both were willing to work hard from the sidelines to help someone else, someone close to their hearts to reach the dream that they had in mind.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtIn the script, Draco had done everything in his power to let Hilda and Fritzen to obtain the power and the love of their citizens to successfully rule over the land of Rosenhyde.
In her past life, Yvonne had done her best to bring the St. Claire group of companies to the highest position and then handed it over to her baby brother Vince after training him well to handle the position.
In this life, they had plans of repeating their fates of helping someone else achieve their goals while they stood in the shadows to wish them well along the way.
Draco was willing to step aside for Fritzen to become the ruler of the land while Yvonne was going to take over the heir responsibilities to help Howard become a knight without any apprehensions.
These two like-minded individuals would have made a great pair but fate had already drawn a deep gash between them and the chances of that being filled were too low.
King Ophire awoke from his thoughts when he noticed that the guards were back to their original kneeling position.
{Punish them as you see fit.}
This made the King's grin to widen and thus sent a shiver running down their spines.
"A month in the Penitent Hall." He uttered in a low voice which made the guards bow down.
In the next second, they disappeared from their position and King Ophire was sure that they were on their way to the Penitent Hall, the punishment chamber.
Just like the Lower Hall in the St. Claire estate, this was a dungeon meant for punishing servants, traitors, and other criminals who dared to oppose the Royal family.
The guards did not hesitate as they scurried over to the Penitent Hall to receive their just punishment as they had indeed disobeyed the orders of the King.
Once they had evacuated the Throne room, King Ophire glanced at the last line of the letter and smiled wider than ever.
{I will be home by tomorrow evening. I hope that my brother would like to have a meal with me.}
How could Ophire ever say no to his little brother?
Thus he strode out of the Throne room with his steward in tow to begin the preparations of the meal that they would share tomorrow.
He held the letter with the utmost care as he walked ahead towards his chambers to ensure that everything was perfect for Draco's return.
The steward remained outside the door which he held open for the King to enter.
He then respectfully bowed as he shut the door and stood guard outside it to make sure that no one would disturb the King while he was inside his room.
Upon entering his Royal Chambers, King Ophire smiled when he noticed the beauty sitting before the silver mirror.

When she noticed that someone had entered her room, she languidly glanced over her shoulder and flashed a smile at the person who had come in.
King Ophire carefully placed the letter on the table next to his bed and walked in the direction of the woman.
"You look pretty as always, My Queen." He praised her while placing a chaste kiss on her head.
A soft giggle emanated from the woman's lips as she tilted her head upwards, demanding another kiss from her husband, the King.
This woman inside the King's chambers was none other than Queen Zena, his beloved wife who had given him the precious gifts of his two children, Fritzen and Felicia.
Bowing down to her wishes, he leaned closer and pecked her lips a couple of times before moving away.
Queen Zena completed brushing her hair and followed after her husband as he sat on the couch.
"What has gotten my Lord so excited?" She inquired as she sat on the other side of the couch.
King Ophire smiled at his wife and then glanced at the letter that was safe on his table.
"Draco is returning tomorrow." He disclosed the reason for his joy and grinned at his Queen.
The smile strained on the Queen's face but she soon recollected her composure and brought out a wider smile.
The fact that the King loved his younger brother more than the son she had borne for him was a thorn in the heart of the Queen of Rosenhyde which grew larger each day.
'Everything is always about that Prince… What about your son?' She questioned in her heart as she did not dare to wreck his pleasant mood with her inquiry.
