Chapter 10171 Just Miss You
"What are you doing, Alec?" Jenny glared at him. She hadn't expected him to move and to
be so near.
Alec smiled at her. This villa was built in the perfect spot. Even if Jenny and Evan stayed in
the same room, he would be able to see their movements. It was so convenient.
"Have you had your lunch?" Alec asked.
Jenny nodded, thinking that he simply had nothing to do. "You look carefree."
"Not really. I just miss you," Alec said those tender words with a tender look on his face.
Jenny blushed, unable to describe what she was feeling.
Just before she was about to speak, Evan pushed his window open next door. He glared at
Alec coldly and said, ' Do you know what being a public nuisance means?"
"Was I being that loud? Were you tossing and turning in bed, perhaps?" Alec mocked. He

Evan didn't plan on arguing with him. He looked at Jenny. "You can go over to his house if
you'd like to say anything to him. I'd like to rest."
"Sorry, Evan," Jenny apologized. She could tell that he was in a bad mood." You can go
rest. I won’t bother you."
"Great." Evan closed his window as if he were really going to rest.
Jenny waved to Alec. But then, he called her phone, and she picked up in bewilderment.
"What?"
"This would work, wouldn't it? Don't go. Just let me look at you," Alec said, looking at her.
His voice had grown softer. Even Evan wouldn't be able to nitpick at it.
Evan stood behind his window, watching Alec's smile through the crack in the curtain. His
intent to kill had long spread through his entire body.
Did he honestly have no way to win against Alec?
That afternoon, Alec and Jenny talked for two hours over the phone. They only hung up
when they had nothing else to say.
Before an hour had even passed after their call, Alec appeared once more in Jenny's sight.
This time, he knocked on the main door.
"What's wrong, Mr. Clarke? Aren't you going to let me in?" Alec stood outside the door,
looking at Evan.
Evan was already planning to kill him. He hadn't even thought that Alec was this annoying
before. He was like a piece of gum stuck fast to the bottom of his shoe, no matter how
hard he tried to peel it off.
However, he kept a smile on his face. "Do come in."
Howard opened the door a little deviously for him. It was then that they realized Alec had

An old man stood behind him. Jenny thought that he looked familiar.
They went into the living room before Alec introduced him to them. He was a famous
chiropractor and was the best when it came to injuries like Evan's.
"I specially invited Dr. Julian Gaarder over to examine you. He's old and skilled. There
might be a way to treat this," Alec said.
No matter how much he hated Evan, he wanted to see him go back to normal. Thus, he
did his best to procure a doctor for him.
Evan didn't react to Alec's words, but Jenny did. "Hello, Dr. Gaarder. I can't believe that I'm
seeing you in person."
It was no wonder she thought he was familiar. He was someone who frequently appeared
in her textbooks. Although she was not a chiropractor, she knew of him. That was why she
was so excited.
