Chapter 468 I’m Around
Alicia looked at Yvonne’s wounded face and gathered that she wasn’t having a good time either. At that
moment, she didn’t know what to do with her.
“You can leave now and don’t show up in front of me again. I’ll investigate what you just said. If you
were one bit untruthful, I wouldn’t let it slide.” Alicia warned.
“Little girl, what made you think you have what it takes to come after me? Who do you think you are?”
she sarcastically asked internally, thinking people these days like to talk big. If it weren’t for the fact that
Jonathan had a mentor that might be of use, she wouldn’t bother coming to see someone as useless
as Alicia.
At the hospital, after a busy day, Jenny was about to leave work when Alec appeared in her office.
“Weren’t we supposed to see Grandpa tonight? Haven’t you finished your work?” Alec asked, showing

Jenny finished organizing the patient files and got up from her chair. “I’m done. Let’s go.”
“Okay.”
As they walked out of the office and out of the hospital, many people saw them together. Curious about
it, they all turned to Morgan.
“Have Dr. Walter and Mr. Faust made up with each other?” they asked. They all knew about Jenny and
Alec’s breakup and that Alec was now with Natalia. They even felt sorry for Jenny, as she was missing
out on such a good man like Alec. They assumed Alec was a good man because it was rare for
someone of his status to show so much care and concern for a woman.
“I don’t know.” Morgan shook her head. She really didn’t know.
“Dr. Walter is so lucky. Not only is she skilled in medicine, but she also found a good man like Mr.
Faust,” someone sighed with envy.
Morgan sneered, not quite agreeing with them. “In my opinion, Jenny is way more capable than Mr.
Faust.”
“Right, right. In your eyes, Dr. Walter is the best person in the universe,” someone teased her on
purpose.
Morgan snorted and didn’t continue the conversation with them.
Outside the hospital, Jenny got into Alec’s car, and they headed for the Old Mansion. On their way
there, Jenny pondered how to get Old Mr. Faust to tell her the truth later. Asking him straight wouldn’t
work, so she had to come up with a plan.
Alec didn’t know what she was thinking and was somewhat worried. “Mortimer is also at the Old
Mansion. If you go there later, you may run into him.”
Most of the time, Mortimer was in the Old Mansion. Although Alec didn’t like it, Mortimer was, after all,
Old Mr. Faust’s son. So, he couldn’t refuse his right to visit his own father.

relationship, Jenny didn’t have a good impression of him either.
“Well, with me around, he won’t dare to do anything to you.”
Soon, they arrived at the entrance of the Old Mansion.
Warren was already waiting for them at the door. When he saw them get out of the car together, he
smiled and said, “Mr. Faust, Miss Jenny, OldMr. Faust is waiting for you in the living room.”
“Warren, long time no see. How have you been?” Jenny greeted Warren with a smile. Before she and
Alec got divorced, she got along well with Warren. He was very caring toward her and didn’t treat her
badly because she was Alec’s wife in name only.
Warren nodded and smiled. “I’m doing fine. Thank you for your concern, Miss Jenny.”
They continued chatting and catching up as they walked into the living room.
As Alec had guessed, Mortimer was indeed in the Old Mansion. When he saw Jenny, he remained
stoic and showed no particular emotion. However, Mortimer couldn’t help but wonder, “Is this woman
really from one of the Ten Elites of Bardoff City? Dad wouldn’t deliberately pull my leg. would he?”
