Chapter 624 The Plan Must Go On
She wasn't a fool. She knew that the Glasses would not be so cunning.
But what if? What if the Glasses thought that Jenny and Alec were close enough that they could kidnap him to
threaten her? After all, everyone knew that Jenny was the most likely to inherit the Walters.
If they could make her give up the Walters by threatening Alec's life, the Walters would fall into Rowena's and
Jolene's hands.
The more she thought about it, the likelier she thought it to be. The Glasses may have had that in mind when they
attacked Alec.
She made up her mind to investigate the Glasses thoroughly.
"The Glasses are not much weaker than the Walters. I probably wouldn't find anything out if I were to investigate
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtthem. It would be easy for such a huge family to hide someone," Graham said slowly. He wanted to urge Jenny to
give up, but he didn't say it in the end. If he did, he would be very cruel.
She was his daughter. Although he disliked Alec, he didn't want her to be miserable. He might as well let her try.
Perhaps time was the remedy to cure all illnesses.
Jenny was in no mood to think about all that. She considered things carefully. 'That makes sense. If someone were
to investigate the Glasses, it would have to be..." She paused for a moment, a mysterious glimmer shining in her
eyes. "Are we continuing with the plan?"
"Are you talking about taking down the Glasses?" Graham asked.
Jenny nodded. "Although Alec can't join us right now, with the Windsors, it shouldn't be a problem. If not, I'll
convince one of the other elites to join us. It'll benefit them in every way. No one would refuse."
Graham could see Jenny's eagerness. She was probably afraid that something would happen to Alec if things
dragged on. He signed inwardly, but he said, "There shouldn't be a need to. The Windsors are stronger than the
Walters and the Glasses."
Everyone was a part of the Ten Elites, but there was a hierarchy among them.
The Glasses were weaker than the Walters, but the Walters were not as strong as the Windsors. Meanwhile, the
Britts were at the bottom of the chain, which was why Jolene could not be convinced.
"Who is the strongest elite?’ Jenny asked instinctively. She hadn't really discovered this before.
With no hesitation at all, Graham said, "The Fausts."
"The Fausts?" Because of Alec, Jenny was very responsive to this name.
"Yes. They have a history that spans hundreds of years. They have internal power issues, but that doesn't affect
their strength," Graham said lightly. His eyes looked ahead.
If he could bring the Walters to a height comparable to the Fausts, Jenny would not be bullied by anyone.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmBefore Jenny could ask more questions, Graham continued, "The Fausts are in turmoil. They have not yet decided
on an heir. Everyone in the Faust family is fighting for it. The politics run deep."
Jenny nodded. She didn't take it to heart. "Alright. I'll go contact James. Well have dinner with him tonight to discuss
this."
"Very well.' Graham knew that Jenny was anxious, so he didn't refuse.
Jenny got up to leave. She didn't spare much thought on the Bardoff City's Fausts. She didn't even consider the
possibility that Alec's disappearance had anything to do with them.
At night, Jolene had somehow heard of Graham having dinner with James, and she rushed to the company.
"Dad, I want to have dinner with you tonight,’ Jolene said. She seldom had any chances to see James; if she missed
this opportunity, there was no telling when the next one would come.
Graham knew tonight's discussion was a serious one, and Jolene was close to the Glasses. How could they let her be
present? He refused her at once.
