Chapter 627 Our Cooperation
"Relax. She has married into my family and is now part of the Walters. I will not let her
affect our cooperation." Graham knew of James' concerns, so he said them out loud to
avoid any doubt between them in the future. He never really liked Rowena, much less the
Glasses.
Before he inherited the Walters, the Glasses had bullied and tormented him relentlessly.
He was merely paying them back for all they did.
James understood. He nodded. "With our forces, it would be hard to take down all of the
Glasses, though not impossible."
"I feel the same way." Graham nodded. It would be no easy feat. Although the Glasses did
not compare to them, they were still one of the Ten Elites. They would not be easily
destroyed.
Jenny grew confident when they said that it was possible. "It's okay. We can take our time

"Let's talk about how we're going to do it, Mr. Walter." James was intrigued by their
mission. He was no longer in the mood to exchange formalities with Jenny, merely
focusing on the subject at hand.
Graham looked at Jenny, unsure whether to talk about it now or later. After all, they hadn't
prepared anything.
Jenny nodded at him and stood up, saying, "You guys can talk for a bit. I'm going to check
on the food."
She wasn't escaping; she simply wasn't too well-versed in the way of business. Staying
there might even hinder their abilities.
She left the private booth and went into the restaurant's main area, where many people
were hanging around. Jenny was still worried about Alec, so she had no appetite.
She walked outside the restaurant. A cold breeze blew over her, and she realized winter
was approaching.
People on the streets were already donning jackets. She lowered her head, realizing she
was only wearing a thin dress. She couldn't help feeling cold, but it wasn't a bad thing. It
made her feel even more awake.
"Jenny." Someone called her name from behind. Jenny looked back and saw that it was
Brandon.
"Is something the matter?" Jenny raised an eyebrow. She didn't want to grow too close to
him.
Brandon was put off by her attitude. "Have you forgotten about us working together?"
Jenny thought for a while and instantly understood what he meant.
"I haven't. I was just a little busy these days.” She just so happened to be preparing to
take down the Glasses. Jenny thought it was time to help Jolene find a way out in case she
wasted away in the Walters' house.
Brandon didn't believe her. "You already have the contract. You promised to help out.
When are you going to do it?"

"Don't be so anxious. My father just so happens to be here. I'll bring you in to greet him.
You know what to do, don't you?" Jenny smiled, thinking that Brandon was spot on with his
timing.
Brandon was surprised. He wasn’t expecting Graham to also be there." Alright."
After a while, Jenny figured that the two men were probably almost done with their
discussion. She brought Brandon in. She knocked as if to serve a warning. If Brandon
walked in while they were talking about the Glasses, things would become awkward.
"Dad, look who I brought." Jenny walked into the private booth, and
Brandon entered Graham's field of sight.
Something flashed in Graham's eyes. "Mr. Britt."
"You can just call me Brandon, Mr. Walter." After all, Graham was his future father-in-law.
Brandon was nice to him.
Jenny was dubious. Why were they all being so polite tonight?
