Chapter 685 You Dislike Jolene?
The dinner was still ongoing, and the marriage alliance between the Walters and the
Windsors meant different things to different people. After all, if these two families joined
forces, it was unlikely that anyone would dare to mess with them.
Some people didn't think the two families would be on good terms, however, as everyone
knew what was going on. At this point, it would be good enough that the Windsors did not
hate the Walters.
Of course, some others thought things would be different after the marriage-the two
families would likely come together for their own interests.
Jenny didn't know what everyone had to say about the matter, nor did she care. She didn't
know what would happen in the future, but for now, the two families were still working
together, although most people didn't know about it.
Jenny intended to go find Stephanie, but she saw someone chatting with her from a

into a new relationship, she would naturally be happy for her friend. She did notice,
though, that Stephanie didn't appear particularly eager to chat with that guy, so she
probably wasn't interested in him.
Looking around the hall and taking in everyone's smiling faces, Jenny sighed. Perhaps the
only one who wasn't happy at the moment was James.
Her eyes unknowingly drifted over to James, but she saw him smiling, apparently in quite
a good mood. He was probably discussing business opportunities with someone, and it
seemed to be going well, as he seemed much happier than earlier.
Jenny withdrew her gaze, thinking she'd perhaps underestimated James too much. At the
end of the day, he didn't care much about his own happiness but more about the interests
of the Windsors.
Looking around again, she saw Alec and then Blake, who was holding his arm. By
appearing together like this, they were basically making their relationship official and
announcing it to everyone. Jenny didn't know what others thought, but she was of the
opinion that they were a good match. Because of Blake, Alec was also the center of
attention that night, and the banquet should pose an excellent opportunity for him.
Just as she wondered whether other Fausts attended the banquet, someone walked up to
her.
"Miss Walter."
Jenny turned and saw the person who had asked for a ride at the door of the Faust family
residence the other day.
"Mr. Faust.”
"You can call me Julian. There's no need to be so formal."
Julian smiled. Even though he was in his early twenties, he had a scheming look in his
eyes.
Jenny found a place to sit down, and Julian followed.
"Can I call you Jen?"

Jenny didn't refuse and was actually quite curious about his intentions.
"Hey, Jen." Julian addressed her sweetly. If it weren't for the scheming look in his eyes,
Jenny would really be attracted to him. After all, who could resist a handsome young guy?
Not saying anything, Jenny waited for him to speak. Feeling Jenny's gaze on him, Julian
inexplicably became a little nervous. He felt as if she had clearly seen through his ulterior
motives. He cleared his throat in an attempt to relieve the awkwardness.
"Jen, today is a good day for the Walters, but you don't seem too happy."
"Naturally, after all, who would be happy to see someone they don't like succeed?" Jenny
held her forehead, looking distressed.
Julian was curious. “You seem to dislike Jolene."
"Yes." Jenny nodded. It was a well-known fact, so there was nothing to hide. She was just
curious to see what Julian was up to.
When Julian heard that, he laughed. "How about I help you teach her a lesson? I also find
her quite annoying."
