Chapter 692 Shameless
"Hmph, who knows," Alec said coldly, clearly skeptical.
His tone made Jenny feel uncomfortable, and her expression hardened." Alec, you need to
understand that we are in a business partnership. I'm not your subordinate, and you have
no right to act all high and mighty with me."
Seeing her angry, Alec frowned slightly. "I'm just reminding you not to get too close to the
other Fausts. They might have ulterior motives when they approach you."
"That would be none of your business, Mr. Faust. After all, I'm not very familiar with you
either." Jenny glanced at him, her expression indifferent.
Alec was slightly annoyed. He sneered, That's true. Considering that you have quite a few
men around you, you're not likely to be interested in that idiot, Julian."
At his words, Jenny's already unhappy expression turned into one of immense displeasure
as she looked straight at Alec. "Mr. Faust, are you unhappy with the men around me? Or

"Shameless," Alec scolded under his breath.
"You take care of yourself, Mr. Faust. As for me, there's no need for you to worry." Jenny
couldn't be bothered to explain herself to him.
Alec smirked, his words tinged with sarcasm. "Worry about you? Miss Walter, you really
think highly of yourself."
"You should be on your way now. I won't see you off," Jenny responded angrily, not
wanting to see Alec for another second.
Why was he so despicable? His words were always so hurtful.
Alec's expression soured upon being chased away. "Who said I'm leaving?"
"Mr. Faust, if you're not leaving, are you planning to stay here and sleep with me?" Jenny
glared at him, thinking Alec was acting like he had lost his marbles.
Alec raised an eyebrow as he looked at her. He smirked and said, "Were you always this
casual with men?"
"Get out, Alec!" Jenny pointed to the door, furious.
Seeing her mad, Alec's mood seemed to take a turn for the better. He smiled as he walked
toward the door. "As for the Glasses, I hope you make your move soon. Don't keep
everyone waiting."
Jenny opened her mouth to speak, but no sound came out.
Alec could still read one word from her lip movements: "Leave."
He chuckled lightly, finding it somewhat amusing.
Jenny felt a little flustered but quickly calmed herself down. She reassured herself that
when she first met Alec, he had always been unpleasant. She had known it early on. After
Jenny watched his figure disappear from her line of sight, it took her a while to calm her
emotions.
About two hours later, the engagement banquet downstairs ended, and Stephanie finally

When she woke up, she realized she was lying on an unfamiliar bed. She instantly recalled
what had happened, her face turning pale in an instant.
After a quick check, she realized that nothing had happened. With that, she breathed a
sigh of relief. Upon walking out of the room, she immediately understood why she was
unharmed.
"Jenny." She looked at Jenny and was touched.
Hearing Stephanie's voice, Jenny turned to look at her. "Finally, you're awake. I was going
to call the doctor to examine you again if you didn't wake up."
"I'm sorry, I-’
"It's not your fault. It's our fault for not doing a good job with the security and almost
causing you harm." Before Stephanie could apologize, Jenny spoke first.
Stephanie was slightly stunned, and then she understood the meaning behind Jenny's
words. "But I still have to thank you. If you hadn't appeared in time, I don't know what
would have happened."
Now that she thought about it, that guy who handed her the glass of wine was definitely
up to no good. She blamed herself for being careless.
