Chapter 711 A Rare Visitor
Jenny quickly forgot about her encounter with Derrick. She hadn't even taken it to heart
and hadn't the slightest idea that she was already marked.
After leaving the hospital, she went to the company. Not Walter Inc, though. She went to
Jeneration Group, which was being managed by Jade and Alfred. Though technically, it was
mostly Alfred doing the managing. Jade was spending most of her efforts on designs.
Jenny didn't think it was a bad thing. Jade was best at fashion, after all. She was working
extra hard, probably because of her ex-husband. She wanted to take the brand to greater
heights to surpass the company she had once built.
Alfred was in his office when he saw her and said, amused, 'Oh, a rare visitor."
"Oh, stop it." Jenny rolled her eyes, though she felt guilty. It had indeed been a while since
she last came there.

growing bigger and stronger, she would have forgotten all about this company of hers.
She sat in front of him and asked, "Are things going well lately?"
"Yes, president. Everything is going swimmingly and developing at a steady pace," Alfred
said, putting on a show. He even slid the financial report toward her. "These are the
projects that we have recently signed, and these are the monthly financial reports. You
can go through them."
Jenny felt a headache coming when she saw them. She took one up. The numbers
crammed into the sheet of paper made her head spin. She couldn't process it at all.
She put the document down and cleared her throat. "The company is now in your hands.
You can make the decisions. You don't have to show them to me."
Most importantly, she couldn't make heads or tails of it.
"I have no idea how you're going to manage Walter Inc. Aren't you afraid that it's going to
close its doors?" Alfred could tell she had not understood the document, and he put it
away.
Jenny pouted. "There are people worrying about it. I just need to be in power."
"Hmph. What a great plan." Jenny was so trusting of him. She wasn't afraid of him
sabotaging her at all.
Jenny smiled and raised an eyebrow at him. "I wouldn't have hired you if I doubted you.
Just relax and do it."
"Does that mean I have to thank you for your trust?" Alfred was speechless. He was
regretting coming to work for her. He felt like she was just a ruthless capitalist,
suppressing labor like him.
He used to envy Alec and thought running Faust Group was a great thing. Everyone would
call him Mr. Faust.
But now, Alfred, too, was called Mr. Faust. Yet, he didn't feel happy. In fact, he felt rather

"Oh, there's no need. It's a mutual thing. You scratch my back, and I'll scratch yours.”
Because of Alfred, Jenny got to relax. And because of Jenny, Alfred got to feel
accomplished. It was like killing two birds with one stone.
Alfred didn't argue with her. He put away the rest of the documents and asked, "Was there
something you needed?"
"Nothing much. I just think we need to expand our businesses more," Jenny said. This was
something she had thought about not too long ago.
Alfred was surprised. "Like what?"
Jeneration Group had already expanded into many industries. Alfred had no idea how they
could grow even more.
Jenny smiled and said, "Bardoff City is roaming with all sorts of big names. Although we're
doing fine on the surface, we're pretty powerless underground. We have to buy all of our
information. That's not good for us." "You mean we should build our own information
network?" Alfred frowned. He was considering the possibilities.
