Evan, who was standing nearby, had been observing everything. His face was shrouded

Blake also noticed Alec and Jenny as she never let Alec out of her sight. When she saw him

Alec locked the door behind him after they entered the lounge.

Alec nodded and walked over to sit down. He motioned for her to sit as he needed to have

a serious talk with her. Jenny frowned again but still sat opposite him and waited for him to

speak. ’My memory has fully recovered, " he finally announced after a long silence.

Their eyes met, and Jenny didn't understand why he said that. She was the one who

performed the surgery. How could she not know?

"Jenny, I'm sorry." Looking at her, Alec's face carried many emotions. Above all of them

was love—restrained love.

Jenny's mood plummeted. She had no idea why her mood had abruptly dropped.

"Do you know what I was thinking when I jumped off the cliff on the day of the accident?’

Alec said, staring at her. ’I wasn't afraid of death at the time. The first thought that came

to my mind was that if I died, I would never see you again. You said that once the Glasses'

affairs were resolved, you would agree to be with me. But I lost my memory when it finally

happened. I was so close to having you back. On the day my memory was restored, I only

Alec's eyes turned red. He had wanted to say these words to Jenny for a long time, but he

never had the chance.

When he saw Jenny and Evan standing together, the two of them being so intimate, and

Graham decided to take Evan as his successor that day, he knew that if he delayed it any

Jenny remained silent. She lowered her head so Alec couldn't see the tears in her eyes.

Alec was silent as he remembered uttering those words. However, he had lost his memory

back then and had no idea how deeply he loved Jenny, which was why he had spoken so

Jenny believed that if a person genuinely loved someone, losing their memory wouldn't

make them forget about their loved one. If they saw them again, they would be able to fall

in love with them all over again, or at least Jenny would. As for Alec.Jt just meant he didn't

love her enough.
