Chapter 914 Don't Overwork Yourself
Jenny was done with the morning rounds. She chatted with the patients scheduled for
surgery the following Monday to make sure they were okay before she left the hospital.
Two hours before noon, she stood at the hospital entrance, looking lost. She didn't know
where else to go after that. A gust of cold breeze lifted the hem of her skirt. She shivered,
and her mind was instantly clearer.
She recalled that Alfred told her about Jade's struggles, and she decided to check in with
Jade in case her friend needed help. However, she didn’t find Jade in the office, and
according to the assistant, she had gone to a client meeting.
Jenny shook her head in defeat. As the boss, she didn't work as hard as Jade and felt a

With that in mind, she decided to visit her office. Indeed, Jenny had an office in Jeneration
Group. The CEO's office was also located in the best spot on the top floor. The floor only
had two offices-hers and the general manager Alfred's.
Alfred had established himself as the de facto leader with all the say in Jeneration Group.
Jenny handed over the management work to him with full trust. She understood that
Alfred was driven by a sense of accomplishment, not monetary reward.
When she went to her office, she was embarrassed to see a newly installed digital lock on
the door. She didn't know the passcode because it was her first time coming to her office.
That was awkward.
She had no choice but to knock on the door of Alfred's office. He responded, and she
entered. Alfred was busy working on some files and didn't even look at the visitor. She
realized that the serious look on Alfred's face when he was at work bore some
resemblance to Alec. Sometimes, she wondered how Mortimer, who was not career-driven,
produced two capable and workaholic sons. What a mystery!
"What's up?" He finally looked up when he sensed the silence. He was taken aback to see
Jenny there.
"Sorry. Just popping in to ask you about the passcode of my office." She chuckled wryly,
feeling a little embarrassed. He purposely laughed at her." Oh, CEO Walter still remembers
that she has an office here."

guilty for not being around.
Alfred had nothing to say against her remark because she was right. He’d have quit the
company if Jenny had come to the office and micromanaged him.
"The default passcode was set to 123456. Reset it yourself." With that, he went back to
work.
She nodded and thanked him before leaving. At the door, she didn't forget to remind him
with much care, "Don't overwork yourself! Health is more important..."
He smiled and looked up, only to find her shutting the door and vanishing from his office.
Shaking his head, he said nothing more and buried himself in work again.
In the office next door, Jenny walked into her space and noted the difference in the interior
decor. The office looked more feminine than Alfred's, but she didn't mind.
She sat in the office and realized she had nothing on her plate. She thought, "I am quite
useless as a CEO..."
