Chapter 936 Idiot
After Zeke and Jenny had gone back into the building, Luke cocked the gun up, grinning in
glee as he gazed at Alec. ’Start groveling, and I just might give you a quick death, Alec!"
Alec glared at him, cursing, ’Fucking idiot."
"What did you say?!' Luke yelled, not expecting Alec to be so arrogant even at a time like
this. Wasn't he worried he'd die?
Alec ignored him, turning to Evan instead. "Truce?"
"Truce." Evan nodded. Better to bring Jenny to safety first before getting Alec to die.
Gunshots immediately rang out, and if not for one of Luke's men pulling him to the side at
the very last second, he would've instantly gotten hit.
"Fuck! Kill them all! Now!" Luke roared.

War immediately broke out with casualties on both sides, though everyone stayed away
from the mansion where Zeke and Jenny were in.
Meanwhile, Jenny listened to the gunfight outside while her heart stuttered with each
bang.
Could Alec and Evan escape from it unscathed?
"Do you think Alec will make it out alive today?" Zeke suddenly asked.
Jenny shot him a look. "Of course."
She trusted Alec.
"Hmm. Why do I feel otherwise?" Zeke chuckled. If Alec could survive that commotion
outside, the Fausts would never go to anyone else's hands save for his.
"Is Stephanie in the other building?" Jenny inquired.
"Yes. Why? Planning how to save her?" Shouldn't Jenny be more worried about saving
herself right now?
"I'm sure no harm will come to her by your men, yes? She's no extraordinary figure."
Zeke didn’t answer that question, merely smiled.
Stephanie, on the other hand, was just as tense from hearing the gunshots outside the
room. What was happening, she thought frantically. Why were there people shooting?
She crept to the window and looked outside but saw nothing. It seemed like the fight was
limited to the space on the other side of the premises. She gritted her teeth and wondered
if the guards outside her door had left too. She'd be able to escape then.
With that in mind, she went to open the door.
"What are you doing?" One of the guards standing outside questioned, his expression

Stephanie cleared her throat. "What's going on? I keep on hearing gunshots. N
"It's none of your business. Now get back inside!" The man slammed the door shut in front
of her, stopping her from leaving.
Stephanie sighed and went to sit back down. She couldn't calm down anymore, especially
after seeing Alec run past in that short minute the door was open.
Did Jenny ask Alec to save her?
The more Stephanie thought about it, the more guilty she felt. She'd never be able to
forgive herself if Jenny and Alec got hurt because of her.
Out in the gardens, Alec and Evan were now hiding behind some cover.
"If this goes on, neither of us is gonna make it out alive," Evan snapped, shooting behind
him before turning back to Alec.
"Don't worry. We'll be alright." Alec seemed confident, as if he'd already prepared for the
worst.
