Chapter 132 Why Are You Following Me?

Axel turned to look at Daniella, then hurriedly jumped off the sofa and followed her.

Upon reaching the second floor, Daniella realized Axel was following her.

Glaring at Axel in disgust, she asked, “Why are you following me?”

Axel feared her reaction and clenched his fists tightly. “I’m going back to my room.

Daniella shouted, “If you want to go to your room, don’t walk around like a ghost!”

Her outburst startled the two children in the room.

Liora was taken aback. “There’s a woman shouting outside. Is that Axel’s Mommy? She sounds

really fierce. Will she come in here?”

Tyler looked at the door and calmly ordered, “Lock the door.”

“It’s going to make a sound,” Liora said fearfully, her face scrunching up.

“It won’t,” Tyler replied while typing on the keyboard. “It’s a silent lock. Just lock it.”

He needed a few more minutes to crack Axel’s software password to verify if they shared the same

hobby. He was willing to take the risk rather than let his effort go to waste.

Liora swiftly pressed the lock and patted her chest in relief upon hearing no noise from it.

Daniella felt something was amiss as Axel had always avoided being in the same place as her.

Yet, he followed her today. She stared at him. “Are you hiding something from me?”

“No,” Axel answered.

Daniella sneered. “Really? You just want to go back to your room, right? Then go!”

Axel stood there anxiously, unsure if Tyler and Liora were in his room. Daniella would punish him

for lying if she saw them when he opened the door

After a moment of hesitation, he chose to walk to his room.

Axel pushed down the door handle of his room to discover that it was locked.

They were there!

Noticing that Axel was not moving, Daniella immediately grabbed his shoulder and pulled him to her.

She shouted in a high–pitched voice, “What the heck are you doing, Axel? Will it kill you to open a

door?”

Axel’s body trembled from hearing Daniella’s angry shout. He lowered his head in a panic and

Daniella was infuriated even more by his silence and gave him a loud slap.

“Why must you provoke me?” Daniella pinched Axel’s face tightly. “I’m just here to grab something, yet

Daniella grabbed Axel by his collar and pulled him into her room ferociously.

Tyler and Liora soon heard a scolding voice accompanied by the sounds of someone being beaten.

Tyler was stunned while Liora burst into tears.

She ran into Tyler’s arms and clutched his shirt tightly. She lowered her childish voice and said, ” I’m

scared, Tyler! Axel’s Mommy is hitting Axel. I want to go home, Tyler!”

Tyler did not expect Daniella to speak such harsh words or hit Axel.

Tyler looked at the cracked password in a daze and saw the name ‘Angst‘ on the username section.

He came to understand that Axel was the person who had paid him 1,000,000 dollars to search for

his biological mother!
