They might make things difficult for you if they can't target me." Caroline sneered. "If you're concerned about me getting involved, then stay away!"

Scott deflected the conversation, saying, "You have two options, Carol.

Stay in the villa, or have Elvira accompany you." Caroline took two breaths and realized she couldn't stay in the villa. Going outside with Elvira was better than isolation.
