Chapter 961 "You're finally back, Ms. Shenton!" greeted the female receptionist as Caroline returned.
Caroline replied with a smile, "Yeah, I'm back." Happily, the receptionist held a card and walked toward the elevator with Caroline.
While waiting for the elevator, she looked at Caroline and asked, "Are you feeling better, Ms. Shenton?" "Thank you for your concern. I'm pretty much recovered." Caroline smiled elegantly.
"That's good." The elevator door opened, and the
receptionist said, "Please go in, Ms.
Shenton." Caroline nodded, entered the elevator | with Elvira, and pressed a button.
Josie rushed toward the elevator doors upstairs upon learning of Caroline's return.
] Nervously, she smoothed her clothes and watched the elevator ascend.

She took a deep breath and greeted, "Ms. Shenton, welcome back..." Stupefied, Josie looked at the woman standing behind Caroline.
Caroline exited the elevator, smiling at Josie. "Didn't I tell you not to come and receive me yesterday?" Josie averted her gaze and walked alongside Caroline. "I couldn't help
Wy T'YBUNUS myself. It's been a really long time since I last met you, Ms. Shenton." "Did you inform everyone that we're | going to have a staff meeting later?" Caroline asked.
Josie nodded firmly. "Yeah, everything's ready." Reaching the office door, Josie helped Caroline open it.
After Caroline entered, Elvira tried to follow.
However, Josie stopped Elvira immediately. "This is Ms. Shenton's office. No one can go in without permission." Caroline turned to Josie upon hearing that.
Elvira stared at Josie. "Step aside."
| "No, I won't let you in unless Ms, Shenton allows it," Josie insisted.
Caroline ignored Elvira and told Josie, | "Good job. Don't let random people come in." Gaining Caroline's support, Josie lifted her chin slightly while looking at Elvira. "Well, random people aren't allowed in!" Consequently, Elvira glared at Caroline with a hideous expression. "Mr.
Hendrix ordered me to follow you!" Caroline walked to the office desk and sat down, looking at Elvira indifferently.
"But he didn't ask you to keep close to me. Don't tell me you want to come with me even if I go to the
washroom?" Helplessly, Elvira turned and stood outside the office since she failed to out-speak Caroline.
Josie hurriedly closed the door and walked to Caroline to put a document down.
Caroline glanced at Josie. "It looks like you noticed something." Josie scratched her head in embarrassment. "You would have introduced me to the new colleague if you brought her here, but you didn't.
You didn't even look at her. That was why I made a bold guess." Her conjecture earned Caroline's praise. "You're smart." Josie chuckled and lowered her voice, "Who is that woman, Ms.
Shenton?" Caroline explained, "She's just someone who's keeping an eye on me." "She's here to keep an eye on you?!" Josie widened her eyes in shock.

Caroline nodded, "Yeah, it's a bit complicated. Just ignore her." "Okay, Ms. Shenton. Here's the document. I'll go to the conference room to get ready," Josie said.
""Go ahead." After Josie left, Caroline received a notification of news.
She immediately checked it out.
She would read all kinds of news daily and carefully after she had gotten her
phone.
After all, she hoped some netizens would claim they had seen Evan and Neil one day.
But all she could see now was the news of Scott getting engaged to Azure.
Disgust and wrath overwhelmed Caroline.
Unexpectedly, Scott had gotten Azure out of prison just to get engaged to her.
