Leah Calloway stood on the balcony, her gaze level with the Melendez Group’s headquarters.

Leah paused, turning to pick up the phone from the table.

Seeing the number on the screen, she frowned, “What’s up?”

“Where are you?” Elio cut to the chase, no pleasantries exchanged.

“I’m in the country!”

home just to visit, you wouldn’t contact Emmett, you wouldn’t disturb Clara and them! But my people

saw you near the Melendez Group’s office!”

Leah chuckled.

“Don’t overthink it, I didn’t go see Emmett! I don’t even know where the Melendez Group’s office is! Are

you a bit too sensitive? Can’t I go out when I come home?”
