Clara furrowed her brows, “I swear, I didn’t! She just tripped and fell. I didn’t even touch

her!”

Before Sophia could respond, Leah’s eyes began to well up with tears, “Sophia, I

appreciate you standing up for me, but please, let it go. I’m afraid she’ll go and tattle to
