“Dad, can I ask you a question?”

Emmett was taken aback, it took him a few seconds to nod

This was a first Aiden never usually initiated questions.

But it felt good

“Alright, let’s go to the study.”

“Okay!”

Emmett entered the study, and Aiden immediately placed his homework on the table.

It was a complex problem. It would be hard for an average kid to understand, but Aiden

He felt like his dad was testing him, but also not. Even if his dad knew about Alex’s
