“You’re already there? Why didn’t you give me a heads up?” Emmett’s voice was calm and

devoid of any scolding.

“Elio, now’s not the time for this. Can you stop joking around? We should drop this topic. If

Alex keeps hearing upsetting things, it won’t be good for him. He’s still young, so I don’t

want him to kpów too much too soon.”

Elio shook his head helplessly, “I think your son knows more than me!”

“Do you know your son planned to give you to me outright?” Elio couldn’t help but laugh
