Noah planted his feet on the ground, trying to maintain his position, but the ground also became loose forcing him to be pushed back.
Noah uttered a curse when he realized that Erolia and the caged individuals would be affected by the water.
To his shock, however, he found that the water did not go past a certain point, rather, he felt it begin to spin and he immediately knew what was to come.
Destruction unfolded forth at that point as the water became a swirling mass capable of shaving the walls of that place.
The land surface above them saw huge cracks opening in its structure and soon it came crashing down into the spinning mass.
Noah swore when that event reached his mind since the earth around the spinning mass transformed into pointy objects that dived into the water, targeting his vulnerable figure.
They never touched Noah however, but rather an explosion of power erupted from the twirling mass sending it flying everywhere. It was the same for the pointy rocks.
Noah's figure appeared before the man who stood no less than ten meters from where the water had been. The man looked on the verge of dying as his entire body was black from electrocution. His left arm was only bones and strands of charred flesh.
His head barely had any skin on it. It was surprising that he was even alive, but it was also clear that it wouldn't remain like that for a long time.
"That was pretty annoying," Noah's cold and distant voice reached the man, but also reached the end of the tunnel.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtFear spread in the expert's mind as he gave up on defeating the monster before him to suddenly vanish from his spot, which in turn was the same time Noah unleashed the first form and caused an earthquake to shake the entirety of the underground lair.
The power in his execution made the unaffected portions of the hideout experience cracks, meaning that Erolia and the hostages were now in danger.
Noah moved, however, and found that the girl had been trying to open the cage, but it was reinforced with mana she couldn't break.
"Move back," Noah commanded the people behind the bare frantic to escape, and they did so with immediate effects.
He kicked the bars and it directly turned to dusk. A shocking turn of events, but they had no time to marvel at the power that had been in the kick.
Noah quickly opened the two bars and caught sight of a young lady who unlike the rest looked healthy and well-fed.
Unfortunately, he couldn't focus on her too much, since that place was coming down on them.
Noah unfolded his consciousness and forcefully gathered them together.
'I guess that's her brother,' Noah noted seeing Erolia grab hold of a young boy, her eyes already red from tears.
Creating a barrier of wind above them which effectively diverted any falling rocks small in size, Noah wondered how he would get everyone out of there, and he quickly got it.
There were exactly sixty individuals resent under his mental waves, including Erolia.
None of them had power in the third tier, so he could quite easily lift their figures with his consciousness. And he did just that.
Applying that force without prior announcement caused them to fear, but they had more to worry about since Noah directly sent their figures towards areas outside of the ruins that his mental waves touched.
In mere seconds he was left alone and directly leaped out of that place then everything caved in revealing the sheer space that had existed beneath the visible surface.
Noah reached them in no time as he had kept their figures floating.
'I didn't plan for this, but I guess it was t be expected. She did talk about rescuing others,' Noah thought letting them down carefully.
They were now out of the danger he could let them walk to the village.
Immediately he set them down Erolia rushed towards him but before she reached him she fell on the floor and pushed her face into the ground.
"Thank you!" she screamed as the ground muffled her voice and the tears that had made her throat shaky.
Her brother who looked no older than 8 did the same while the others simply watched.
Very soon they all began to murmur their thanks, tears filling their eyes, not even the men that were there escaped the tears.
Noah felt taken aback by that scene, they looked like worshipers praising their god, and for that moment he was the only thing close to a savior for them.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏm"You can all stop," Noah announced at some point, taking note of the well-fed and even-dressed lady. He already guessed she was the town's head's daughter as she had a resemblance to Kius, but he honestly hadn't expected that state as she looked better off than the others.
They all immediately went silent at his words and he nodded his head.
"I'm sure you all know the path forward. As we will be making our way to the town," Noah explained and they listened attentively.
His gaze swept the group surrounded by trees, but the silver light of the moon remained strong enough to piece those branches to get there.
Unknown to Noah he stood below a spot that featured a clear stream on silver light washing over him and making his white hair sparkle.
As he spoke the people including even Erolia could not help but get mesmerized by the scene, it was nothing short of magical. The man before them seemed to be acknowledged by even his surrounding.
It was beautiful. If only they knew what was to come.
After speaking ot them Noah made them begin their journey to the town, while he stayed at the back of the group his consciousness surrounding them.
He called the lady whom he thought to be the town's heads daughter and held a light conversation with her.
She was a beautiful young lady with black wavy hair that reached her back. Here eyes were deep brown, her face oval but have a slightly pointy chin, her nose slim and her eyebrows holding a bit of volume but remaining thin at its edges.
She had a reserved look, but he could see energy boiling in her eyes. To crown it all up she was at the peak of the second tier.
Reminding Noah that there were many people whom he had met that were still in that level. And it would take them years, decades even, to reach his level.
Their conversation end when the gate to the town was within the visual ranges of those there.
Noah sent her forward, then grabbed both Erolia and her brother to immediately vanish from that position.
