Many years before current events. Literally centuries prior. A group of elves had come together in the spirit of strife, jealousy, anger, and mischief.
They had formed a group formerly known as the factions since they desired anonymity. There had been seven of these Elven factions who had a goal that went against the rules and ordination of the Elven royal family.
Rumors of the faction had been little during its early years, the only notable information being that very powerful individuals and important ones had been its starters. Those individuals themselves being unknown.
Soon, the rumors turned into true evidence, but the factions had individuals in high places, allowing their activities to go unnoticed. Thousands joined the cause of these seven powerful individuals and the seven factions were formed.
They moved to strengthen their followers, and this succeeded with incredible potential. Many individuals entered the fourth tier after many decades, these experts owing their lives to the faction. Further following the goals of this underground organization within the Elven continent.
What were the goals of the said factions? That was none other than to wipe out the human continent and own the whole thing for themselves. At least that was what was told to them.
But soon they found out that their mission had been too ambitious. Or at least the lower forces who followed the factions with full loyalty found this out. The hard way at that.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtThe human continent; Lidrath, contained three main nations, one of which possessed a military force capable of threatening the other nations. One housed the entity that had put the world in turmoil and the other contained a religious but equally powerful set of humans.
The one trend was the factions were underpowered compared to all three nations. Many of the lower forces had long since realized that reality, but they had sworn to follow, even if death would be the outcome.
If only they knew they had been tricked. A lie had been sold to them and with it; power. It remained a natural order that all living beings strived for dominance.
Dominance was sold to them, but with a lie. A dangerous one. One that sent thousands to their deaths, while the schemers themselves watched from a safe point of view.
The true goal of the seven elves that started the factions was to stir up the anger of the ruler of the Cusk nation. All seven of them had been around during the millennia-old skirmish that led to the drastic display of dominance the ruler had done.
He had wounded the world and had proved that having the largest regions of land didn't mean power.
The elf Noah had captured explained the events that had occurred for the past few decades. Of course, the tier 4 existence knew not of the real goal behind the movement of their organization.
Noah learned that after the incident that ended up in the total annihilation of the council guild emissary. A series of battles had unfolded in the world.
Prince Faust who had his descendants killed moved with anger and attacked the noble families capable of deploying tier 5 existences.
Thousands had died in that week-long battle. But things changed when the Seven factions called upon the support of the noble families on their side.
The event had seen the withdrawal of 10 large cities which had those noble families as leaders. They were now under the seven faction who had presented themselves as a united front, terming themselves 'The Order'.
The three tier 5 individuals that had been responsible for the mass murder had been revealed, and one of them had been given to the great guild. A battle had unfolded. The lady lost with barely her life intact.
A few years of fighting had to happen before the royal council called upon the Order, and a meeting took place.
The meeting lasted for seven months. High up in the sky. But when both forces returned, they revealed the agreement that had been made.
The Order had been allowed to continue on their agenda, only that they were given a time limit.
"One hundred years," Noah muttered gazing at the elf before him. He still had Muliix on, blocking every way for the expert before him to read his expressions.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏm"Yes. After this period if we can take control of half the nation's land area a final three battles will occur."
"Battles between the fifth tier cultivators, battles between the fourth tier cultivators, and finally a battle between the third tier cultivators," Explained, the elf, whose name had been revealed to be Piron.
Piron fell silent after about an hour of narration. His audience had been mostly silent only commenting here and there. But even with that strange and powerful armor, he could sense the great calmness this entity exuded.
"I believe that is all," Noah stated allowing the many other things he had been told to sink in. There was a whole lot that became understandable, but he still wondered what the royals thought when they formed that agreement.
Had they gotten bored and wanted entertainment? Or was there more to it than the public could know?
All that aside, their decision had still led to the deaths of hundreds of thousands. While the remaining citizens lived in constant fear of an invasion.
Prion made Noah understand that the elves still attacked with vigorousness and brutality. The only difference was that the royals did not deploy tier 5s into the conflict.
If a tier 4 had been the head of a raid, then a tier four would have to be the one to stop him or her.
There wasn't a limit to how many individuals could attack the person, however. Which for this reason, it was more likely that a group of four or three tier 4's would be in such forces leading the hundreds of tier 3 experts.
"It's like a game to them," He commented even if he felt nothing from the whole explanation. He had simply gained information. He lacked any care for the lives that had been lost or the consequences of that war. All he wanted was to remain well-informed.
