Noah's figure streaked across the skies as he felt the presences of the royal knights withdraw. They had come earlier than expected. It did not bother him however, he was going to leave to begin with.
His legs moved rapidly as he ran many times the speed of sound, his mind was capable of keeping up with that speed since he could create a platform or make one huge one.
Miles away from the city he decided to take care of something he had started only a few hours prior.
The white light of teleportation wrapped his figure and he disappeared from the sky. The streak he created coming to an abrupt end.
Arriving within the whiteness of the cultivation room, Noah waltzed in without the slightest hesitation. He had kept a higher-stage expert within it, but he walked in without fretting.
"How are you enjoying your binds? They are made from an energy that is capable of killing you," Noah's tone was calm, and his gaze light.
His eyes fell on the chained figure of the higher-stage cultivator and he revealed a cold smile. Tens of chains made directly out of his speed essence were connected to her wrists and legs and her neck. Noah had bound each of her limbs with twenty of such chains each.
They weighed a whole lot, but mostly they prevented her from calling upon her mana, she had experienced a repercussion similar to speed essence poisoning. Only milder.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtThe lady remained silent at his words. Her body featured many cuts and wounds. When Noah had come there he had fought with her. Going on to express his higher level of power.
Thanks to the unique nature of that room, he could expand it until it reached many meters in size. A suitable battlefield for those experts.
He crouched before her and placed his hand on her chin, raising her face. She had a black expression on, and her gaze remained blank. The grey lights that swirled within her eyes had gone low.
Not being around mana had drained her very existence, The sole energy that powered her had been stripped from her reach, and the energy around her even hated the one within her. It was a state no less than death.
"Do you relish watching others in pain?" She spoke those words like a curse.
Noah let go of her at that point.
"No. I wish I could though. I feel nothing but the willingness to do whatever I want to do," he replied tilting his head and placing his finger on his chin.
"A disgusting smell reaches me from your figure. You're one who's had his hands within the pools of death," She raised her head to glare at him.
"I once wasn't this way. That wasn't even too long ago. But that is not the topic of our conversation." Noah explained. "I have come to kill you."
"You tell me you don't enjoy the suffering of others and you say that with such boldness and blatancy," the elven lady gave a cold smile. Her tone had reduced, and her gaze had fallen to the ground.
"I said that to let you know my intentions. You will be subject to an experiment after which I'll take your memories and eradicate the Order from this nation," Noah stated.
"You don't have that type of power," She mocked.
"Between the both of us I should be saying that," Noah shook his head. "I will have such power soon. Very soon."
"Just like how you grew in power in only one battle with us," She raised an eyebrow.
"Precisely," stated Noah. "I will go around eradicating the bases of the Order which would make me grow stronger. It is such a beautiful thing that you all sprung up at this time. Truly fate exists."
"How does that even work? And they will have you dealt with," She spat at him. But Noah dodged it with ease.
"Well, they can do whatever they want. I'll grow stronger and eradicate all of them," He stated once again waving his hand in dismissal.
"Your arrogance will lead to your death," Stated the elf and she lowered her face.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏm"I've forgotten how to feel arrogant. All my words are logical and possible, so I'll achieve them," Noah explained falling silent. His words made no sense but he didn't look like he bluffed so she could only wonder.
"Now to the main topic of our meeting. I still have my guild to find," he started.
"I will now proceed to see the full extent of essence poisoning. It's one part of my mission on this planet." He crouched before her again and this time he placed his hand on her chest.
The event and his weird words startled her but she cared less about who touched her body or not.
The silver mass of speed essence flowed out of Noah's hand at that point and he made it instantly seep past her clothes to enter her body.
Her figure exploded with power at that point and he was pushed back crashing into the wall violently.
A primal scream left her lips at that point and Noah felt his eardrums tremble madly.
A vibrant blue light flowed into the world as the lady floated, but she shook violently in pain, trying to unbind herself and stop whatever was going on within her body.
Some of the chains snapped, but most remained to bound her. Cries of agony never stopped leaving her mouth and soon she began to beg for help.
The pain she felt remained one she would never be able to bear. The speed essence without any commands from Noah; was violent.
It tore through her spirit which had all of its mass based on mana. Both energies fought, but speed essence was from a level of power the mana she was exposed to had not reached.
Noah had to expand the cultivation room to accommodate that violent event, spells tried to form but only masses of water fell from different points, her mana seemed more attuned to the form of water, but flames still filled the world around her.
The event became a proper storm of elements but a silver light always tried to suppress them.
